I love it and the animation is flawless but I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Julietta's side of the family looks depressed and Pepa's side of the family all have smiles. MIRABEL, MY CHILD, BE HAPPY

This meme is really well animated, please dont listen to the guys in the comments complaining about the skin tones, they are just trolls that have done this to multiple artists/animators on youtube and other platforms.
Its literally whitewashing what the fuck do you even mean, like almost half of them politely and sensitively pointed out about the skin tones, listen if i made your oc black/white, which wasnt even their og skin color, you would be mad too.

@@Funsheeps that was literally the lighting of the three characters, they have lighter backgrounds,
@@dragonsman4733 Lighting doesn’t completely change a persons complexion like that. Antonio, who’s dark-skinned, should not be turned a greyish light brown color especially because his background was dark. Same for Isabella, she should not be turned light skinned when her background is purple and dark pink/peach.
@@Funsheeps I am an animator myself, and it happens. Especially with tweening, you'll notice that the characters have a sharper and lighter body around them which in tweeting can be achieved with a special program. Also, why are you even criticizing this instead of complimenting the art itself??? Skin shades are hard to do, and easy to confuse. heck, I just use the sand option when I can't be bothered. You twitter trolls really always have to make something about skin, and ruin someone's day. It's the old saying, "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all" especially with artists.

skin color can be greatly influenced by lighting and lighting colors. maybe that's why

i love this, but i have one question. I think Dolores's skin color is a bit too light.
I noticed it too. But if you think about it: skin tone also depends on lighting, and even in Encanto there are such shots where Dolores can be lighter than she should, or camilo / Mirabelle / Antonio. By the way, as a last resort, we can fix it with filters
