This works. You don't even need to be far into a New Game + game. You can import your completed PS4 save. Start a New Game + with permadeath and on Grounded+. Just play a minute or two. then follow what laugh at this did @ 00:56. Works like a charm. Thanks LAT!

I’ve noticed there more glitches in the remaster than the original. During day 3 with Abby I had somehow gotten an unlimited durability silencer but the bottle was never attached. I could even take off the effect if I tried even after reloading the check points or encounters
I'm doing grounded in the 1st last of us but I've been stuck in the mission where Ellie and David fight the infected! I have nearly no ammo or bombs and such! What can I do? Those damn infected just swarm from out of nowhere! I've never played on grounded in either game and I have hundreds of hours logged on both! You young guys are the real deal because I don't know how you get through these levels with being killed 100 times!! I can't!!!!!
@@babyshiori It still works as of 2/28/2024. It's probably something you said yes to. I am doing it on New Game +. Start or continue your new game + on grounded game. Play for a few minutes. Quit to menu. Go to chapters. If you only have prologue...this will still work. Select the chapter you want or have. Put it on Moderate difficulty. Play the game for a few seconds. Go to pause menu. Extras....put all the gameplay modifiers you want. Play a bit and then exit to menu. Go to story. Go to load game. Say no. Pick the a save that says autosave backup. Make sure it says Grounded/Grounded +. Say yes and say yes again. And it should work. Hope that helps.

Dude why go through all that? Once unlocked,you can activate cheats mid game at any time(except maybe during cutscenes,but unsure about that). Well at least on Playstation 4.
@Rondeleiro I am not sure. I loaded the game up one day, and it worked! I will say, I did it right after I loaded the game up. I didn't play some and then try it. Went straight for it and it worked.

It took me a while to do it. Look at walkthroughs of how to do it. Once you’re out of the shed it’s easy AF.
