We bought a couple of those Smitten Kittens last year (they’re very cute btw) and they need batteries to operate them. I remember that it wasn’t very clear on the packaging so I missed it. I think it was AAA batteries but if you check the packaging it’s on there somewhere. Have a great Christmas.
