This is my favorite video of the year! I love getting my kids gifts. I love getting a good deal. And I LOVE sharing it all with you! I had a $50 budget per kid this year and I think I did pretty well between sales, thrifting, black Friday, and surplus stores. I hope you enjoy!

I don’t remember exactly what I said in the video about the slippers….but I feel like it’s being made a much bigger deal than it was. 🤣 Just to clarify. This was just ONE tiny thing on my daughter’s list. And it wasn’t her number one thing she can’t live without. Just a small thing she put on her list. So since she did get slippers, we’ll maybe just move on.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! Even those that are mad at me for getting her the wrong slippers lol.

Second year in a row of being so inspired by you and how you manage to be so thoughtful with the budget that you set! My mom always managed to find the best deals and always wowed me at how she was able to pull off a great Christmas for next to nothing. And to all the naysayers, I loved my mom’s thoughtfulness she put into finding me things even if it wasn’t the exact thing I asked for. Actually after awhile certain point I stopped asking for anything specific because I just loved seeing what my mom would surprise me with! And she always hit the nail on the head with great ideas on her own! We know our kids so well and the best thing we can do for them is to not let them become obsessed with things. My kids have been clothed in nothing but thrifted clothes and have been given mostly thrifted toys since they were born and they’re 5 and 6 and are none the wiser. Actually they quite enjoy finding “surprises” at the thrift stores. Everything eventually breaks or gets donated when an interest changes. We shouldn’t put so much value in things and put that value in the people that take the time to gift them. ❤
This video is amazing. So many times as a teacher kids will tell me they didn't get any Christmas cause their parents couldn't afford it. This shows you can get quality things for little money. AMAZING GREAT VIDEO

You are amazing!! You found beautiful, thoughtful, creative and meaningful gifts for each child AND stayed in budget!! You found GREAT deals!! I bet your kids were over the moon excited on Christmas morning! I remember when mine were younger and finding a Rubbermaid type of bin full of star wars and more legos at a yard sale for under $10!! It blessed my heart so much and my boys were THRILLED! They did not care if they were new in box…in fact I think they had more fun discovering what all was in the bin and they found “treasures” in there!! As someone else already mentioned you teaching your kids in the Lord and investing in them daily is huge and then teaching them these other valuable lessons is fantastic….as my husband loves to sing…you can’t always get what you want…as a teacher friend said just the other day to a kid, learning that we don’t always get what we want is a part of growing up. Please never listen to the negativity!! I’ve seen moms who have a tight budget and are horrible to their kids for asking for something and they get them that one gift and nothing else and then make them pay them back even. I even saw one mom was not getting her daughter anything and wrapping an empty box. You are SUCH a thoughtful momma. ❤
Those disney crochet kits and the nutcracker crochet kit are so cute. I love to crochet.

Thrift stores are so fun to shop at because you never know what you will find that might be brand new.

I wish we had nicer thrift stores and a surplus store where we live but they are kinda shabby so I don't like going in them. I did however get some second hand toys off of facebook marketplace this year! Awesome gifts!

Oh and the tree house was brilliant! One Christmas we took my dollhouse my parents made me when I was a little girl and converted it to a castle!! My husband made and attached turrets and I found stone looking scrapbook papers for the walls inside…I found loads of thrifted “castle guys and horses” as we called them!!!😂😂and all sorts of little bits and pieces that made my old doll house turned castle just come alive! They LOVED IT!!!!!

Honestly, I am a mom who has always bought my kids way way too much. My kids who are 20 and 21 years old now and we have bought half the amount this year because college. I am so impressed at the beautiful gifts you have bought for each of your kids and the deals you have found.

I think they got really great presents! I, too have to budget. The Christmas budget this year was 300 for my three teens. They were happy with everything. People need to realize that all families are different with various incomes, and are doing the best they can with what they have. As long as your kids are loved and their needs are met, you’re doing your job.

You got some great finds! Thrift stores are not popular where i live ( we only have a poorly stocked and over priced Goodwill and the closest real thrift store is 45 mins away) but when i lived in TX you could find amazing things thrifting!

You guys will have so much fun with the game cam! We have them everywhere. You'll notice some of the same animals come back each night. If you don't get a lot of activity tey moving it to a few different locations. We love making silly faces to the one my parents have in theor driveway. When my boys were about 3,4,7 my mom saw them peeing on a tree🤦🏼♀️ They loved curling up on my moms lap and looking at cam photos...then they sw themselves and rolled and laughed historically!

I got her one of those coloring houses and my daughter and her cousins had a ball coloring it for weeks

Love it . I have 3 kids , ages 23 months , 5 and 1/2 yr old , and almost 8 yr old day after Christmas. I did have a similar budget I spent around 140 not including tax for my 3 kids (I didn’t include stocking stuffers in that price ) . I bought 3 gifts each. Although 1 gift has multiple parts which is wrapped in a box as 1 . I have thrifted gifts before. Actually one gift I bought from eBay kinda new but an open box. I utilized target 25% 1 toy. Then they had other toy sales so I really scored at target probably half the gifts were bought there. I also had gift cards or Walmart cash I used so that saved me as well . I also buy a Christmas outfit for church and pjs which is not included in that $140 . I used to go more all out when my oldest was younger then I realized we were overwhelmed with stuff so I have been on a minimalist journey. We are given gifts by family too and when everyone buys something it adds up quickly especially for those aunts and uncles who may 2 gifts a child . So I really think out the gifts and help a make a list off my child’s current interest so I don’t get a bunch of gifts that clutter up the house. I can see you did a good job of that. Just stumbled across your video was interesting what you got for $50 . I’m probably subscribe. I am also a Christian. Thanks for sharing.

How great to find the shoes for a steal price. You have done so good for each kids and I am 77 grandma and I shop thrift stores and every Christmas my grands and now great grands get things from the thrift store. I got a 60.00 name brand Hoodia for 7 dollars and I promice it will be his favorite item. I can spoil my babies but I still shop and buy for them at the thrift. I do think it teaches them to be humble to one's that always survive totally fr the thrift. Merry Christmas

Girl you get what you can afford you still have to live after the holidays if you can ball out for your kids great but if you can’t so be it some kids can’t even get anything so kids please appreciate what you get and be be thankful
