Well you can train them to be pets like seen here, so if you do so long enough over generations, they will eventually be domestic.
I didn't know she actually uses the toilet, that's amazing! and incredibly convenient!
In Trinidad it's called a Pot Hound. The entire Caribbean has nicknames for very mixed dogs. It's called that because they are "all mixed up" like food in a pot. ;)

Do raccoons needs rabies shot?
Raccoon's are Major carriers of Rabies, if only because they den together and if there any in a given area that means there are usually Lots of them !
If where you live requires that cats and dogs Must have Rabies shots then you can bet 'Coons and other like warm-blooded pets need them too...
Rabies isn't really a thing in the bahamas
