Thanks and great work mate, explains why no one else can see mine 😂 Kinda sad that no one else can see the hard work livery unless sharing it 😂 I renember earlier in 2019, could make the liveries and all could see it. Seems Kunos done something about it 😭
I've just been looking to see if there has been an update but there is still no official wireframe for the BMW M4 GT3. However once that is released, I will make an updated video, which will hopefully be soon 👍
Nice and very informative video, BUT it's convinced me about the fact that it's a totally pain in the ass... 🤣 We need a proper IN GAME livery editor, just like other car games, like Gran Turismo or Forza. Until then I stick with the in game options.
This is a great video and has helped me heaps. Question tho, once I save a decal and shut Gimp, how do I reopen it to continue modification?? I have tried a few different things but can't see all my layers again. Any help would be most welcome
That is strange, usually if you save the GIMP file, it saves in your Documents in the GIMP folder and when you open it all the layers and everything you've done should be still on there
Awesome thanks for this..helped me do my first ACC skin. Although I'm having trouble writing text as its always mirrored and I cant seem to alter it ? Any help would be appreciated. Do I need to create a new layer for adding text?
Glad it you found the video useful! Yes for text I open a text box in a new layer and then for the other side I would duplicate the layer and then rotate the text by 180° or I think you can go to: Layer - Transform - Flip Horizontally. That might get it the way you want, hope this helps.

Thanks! Yeah 😂 they changed it because custom liveries create a lag-spike when people join servers so that's why they only show when shared now

You have to share the livery file to everyone who you are racing with and they place that in their livery folder.

I've had someone mention this to me before but not sure how to fix this issue as I've never came across it myself
I have a problem where the template in GIMP is facing down therefore the livery isn't on the car properly in the showroom
