Yes, but keep in mind that the fatty acid composition will have significant impact on the saponification and dissolution rate, increasing production time.

Thanks for the video please can I use the regular sunflower oil because I don't have access to the high oleic acid one ? If so should I add something to avoid the rancidity risk ?
@@jerrellslay9214 You would recalculate using a soap calculator. Regular sunflower oil is higher in polyunsaturated fatty acids and is thus more prone to oxidation and rancidity, just something to keep in mind especially when using higher concentrations and increasing the risk of hydrolytic oxidation by using in a liquid soap solution!
Mica is not water-soluble and will precipitate from the solution, forming a layer of "sludge" at the bottom. 30HTLS additives are required for the 30HTLS No-Paste process. If you do not have sodium lactate, you can use sodium chloride; however, one or the other must be used. If you do not use the 30HTLS additives, you will have a standard paste recipe and process.

If you are buying from local retailers or health food stores in small quantities, you are going to have a much higher cost. In general, the ingredients and additives for this recipe are not very expensive in the U.S. We recommend Soaper's Choice and WSP for bulk-size oils and cosmetic additives (like sodium lactate and glycerin) and grocery store items for as much as possible (think- sodium chloride, olive oil, coconut oil, lard, sunflower, etc.). I just made this soap and I am in love!!!
Please tell me is it gentle on the skin? I am a little hesitant about it because the percentage of coconut is very high!
Is the crockpot on while cooking and if so what temp? Also after dilution is the crockpot still on and if so what temp? Thanks in advance!
I love how she called it a crackpot lol
Thanks for sharing. Mind sharing your brand type of hand blender? It looks sturdy.

What’s the final PH? Is it suitable for hair cleaning or it’s for shower 🚿 or just for hands 🙌🏻
very informative video, thank you for sharing 😊 I would like to know if the soap can be used immediately or needs sequestering (curing? ) Thank you!
It can be used immediately, although all liquid soaps can benefit from a sequestering period.

Thanks for the video please can I use the regular sunflower oil because I don't have access to the high oleic acid one ? If so should I add something to avoid the rancidity risk ?
Yes, you can use regular sunflower oil without issue. Simply update your lye calculations because the SAP values are slightly different

Very gud mam❤❤❤❤
I noticed you added both sodium lactate and sodium chloride. Do you need to add both salts or one or the other?
Mam u use oil and sodium exide & potatiom per exide and other powder name؟
Amazing job
So so we add preservative to this recipe ? If yes then when and how much 🙏🏽 thx in advance ❤️
Preservative is not needed for this recipe
Eric @ UG2SOAP
Hi - what is the sodium lactate for ?
In liquid soap, sodium lactate makes it easier to dilute. Quite smart with this system of fore-going the paste stage.
Where'd you purchase your stick blender and the slow cooker please?
We use an All-Clad immersion blender and generic 2QT crockpot

Can this be used as shampoo
What can the coconut oil be substituted with?
And ideally, this liquid soap, is it a hand wash? Dish wash? Bath liquid soap?
This is formulated for general body and hand use.
Can I use a refined sunflower oil??...If yes ..then how do.I adjust the lye ??.How do I calculate it.I am new to soapmaking.
Yes. The easiest way to calculate it is by using a lye calculator online. Two popular ones are soap calc and brambleberry.
