The front suspension design is silly, you don't need to do that to get zero scrub, and as they pointed out, the rear tire clearance seems like it'll be the bigger issue. They commented on its relative driving characteristics compared to other rigs and complimented it where it did well. The Can-Am press event was about nut-sucking and marvelling at how wonderful and amazing BRP is not honest impressions. Notice how everyone there was an 'influencer' style person or a sponsored athlete? They didn't want honesty they wanted praise and adulation to soften the public acceptance of their wild new idea. It's not the dumbest thing anyone's ever done but I think history will show it was a gimmick.
So who’s going to read the manual you never know you might find cool ways of certain set ups for different tracks and it might even run better for who’s ever driving. Good video keep them up guys.

I have watched every video from the beginning. I rarely see any suspension adjustments. Put some rebound in the rear of that thing!! Adjustments make a huge difference on the x3.

I like Nick and rarely ever disagree with him but.Nick commented on the Honda Talons DCT transmission and said it was outdated.. The best transmission out there in the current market is the DCT in the Talon..Just Sayin..

Really my only complaint is how the front looks, maybe putting big ass fenders on it might hide the goofy looking suspension and make it look cool but other than the looks it really is a hell of an upgrade from the previous years of the X3
Has anyone ever noticed that can am constantly talks up their cars with not true or not entirely true specs for example like that turbo size then they claimed the x3 had more travel than the rzr but you couldn’t even use it and seemed to cause lots of problems with that platform if anyone wants to put their input in on this that would be cool!
I’ve commented this before but with the ass end kicking up you should try getting off the throttle for a split second when the front end gets to the jump so it preloads it more. I remember way back the stadium super trucks would do that to prevent it. Might help might not who am I to say.

I feel they did what Yamaha should have done years ago I love love my Yxz but would love to see a more updated version with a stock turbo and something comparable to the dynomax suspension. But at the same time a can kick the shit out of my Yxz with minimal damage and cost when there is damage
I drove it in manual after the video for a good half hour. Super fun in manual, a bit challenging when you aren’t use to it. The trans was super responsive, seems like it will take the abuse. One think is a bit of a miss is it has a giant screen and in the very bottom left corner it shows the gear your in. Pretty hard to see when your pushing it hard. Overall tight tho.
it's funny how you guys point out the bad parts of the build quality on their first release of the Maverick R. The Polaris razor pro r on the first release had medal and main structural parts fly off.
You really need to drive it like it's a manual and not a CVT. Shift the thing yourself. I'd like to see back to back runs with time to see which is faster.
The computer is smarter than us for sure. Plus with the amount of gears and how short they are it’s not really beneficial at all to attempt to shift this yourself. MAYBE for engine braking but otherwise not really useful or better.
Thing is always nosing down on jumps though. I'd be afraid to really send it. Not a fan of the tire limitations due to suspension geometry. Absolutely hate the cylinder shut off...
The only thing I like about the new Maverick car is to look the technology they packed too much attack into it just like Matt said and it doesn't have enough power to do what you want it to do only thing I would

Everything??? Front end setup and trans is all I see that could compete. Tech sucks,build quality sucks,no storage,jumps like crap, 32" tires rub the knuckles, it's like comparing iPhone to android!! If you want to add accessories, you have to buy canam parts. It costs 12k more than a pro r..... should I continue??? Epic fail!
@Jizden_Mipanz you gotta give the power nod to the Maverick, though. Both EVO & LaRue dyno'd it at over 210hp at the wheels while the Pro R puts down 170...stock vs stock.

The body panel alignment (or lack of build quality) is the same as my new SeaDoo Switch. It's BS that you spend this much for this little attention paid at the factory for decent assembly QC. And I thought my Polaris units were bad. Nope, not by comparison. BRP needs to step it up!
