used to play Arma 2 BECTI it was very similar to this, the milsims would do amazing, my whole job in BECTI was setting up no fly zones as an Engineer and Truck team, set up sam sites and AA area's to prevent drone and jet incursions. was sooo fun shame Arma 3 couldn't handle BECTI hopefully Arma 4 will.

I played arma 3 at 10 fps my whole life, it's very playable
I dropped a lot of money on a new rig just so I could play AAA titles in crispy 4k and high frames, but I still spend most of my gaming hours chugging through ARMA at 15-30 frames.
God, I love this game.

I love the balance of the gameplay, as soon as day breaks, the swarming starts. Those ZSU gunners were MVP, that stopped so many of you guys. Seems the Opfor has been learning, they didn't bring out all the vehicles in the night-phase like last time, where the drone easily picked them off.

Ill say it again. This is some of the best gaming content I've seen. Its becoming more like a tv series I actively look forward to the episodes releases.
It's great to see so many different POV's put together, it really shows the multitude of factors playing into the raid. Something i would like to see added in future videos is segments that discuss major events that happened from top down view, sort of like the introduction plan to connect those different POVs into one large picture of battle.
As an opfor player i enjoyed the last one more since i saw A LOT of action ( I almost took down the littebird with my PKM on insert and did a number of ya when the day came), where in this one i sat on a watchtower for 80% of the game waiting for you to do a naval insert 😅 It was fun regardless

From having the best of the best Arma 3 players, (minus Dslyecxi imo) to the multiple player views, to using the sweetest weapons, and finishing with the touching music during debrief, hands down the best gaming videos on UA-cam imo. Apparently Eyes and A10 were not tasked to watch for introduction of wheeled assets, on their overwatch mission.
That AA scored half the force kill.
AA is no joke. In Vietnam, in the DMZ, a friend of mine was shot out of the clamshells of an AC-119 Puff by one they called the "Golden Fantail", that kept positioning below them to shoot because the ship could not turn fast enough to hit them as they retreated North. He dislocated his knees in the Canopy Jungle, then was captured, then escaped, and returned to base.
Having a price on you head of 10 pigs and some number of cartons of cigarettes made for a sporty evasion.
That Chapter ended with the non-regulation acquisition of a 10,000lb Daisy Cutter with an 18' Trigger, deployed by an emergency vertical maneuver. When your effective kill radius is 1/4 mile, a whole lot of problems are solved in one try.
AA is no joke. Sorry guys. First time it lit up the A10 should have wiped it out.
Also,
B. if there is a place in the open, and there are friendlies laying around not talking. Face the reality that it is a Kill Zone.
C. if the suspected Kill Zone is under the watch of AA, it is definitely a Kill Zone.
D. If your Egress is under the Cover of direct line AA, that also qualifies as a Kill Zone.

Damn, that enemy ZSU that took out a whole section was called out 10 minutes before the Mass Cas and the air guys didn’t even realize it was there
we blew up multiple zsu's over the course of the event, i think air had popped ~8
@@karmakut I did see that, but it was the same ZSU that made your SBF position retreat that also caught those guys out in the open from the looks, could just be the editing
@@Rskproduct no it wasn’t haha i was playing opfor for this and literally seconds after that first ZSU clip that first truck got hell fired. that was 2 scout, the 2nd clip was another zsu completely

Hey Karma! Have you ever considered doing conventional warfare instead of asymmetric? That would be really interesting to see, like a motorized/mechanized platoon vs platoon meeting engagement
I don’t think it’s be nearly as fun as it sounds, would be pretty lethal and over rather quick, or if done authentically, someone would level someone else’s grid square xD

Very cool operation, great content that you don't really see from any other creators on youtube. One thing I'd like to see more of is OPFOR pov. It's interesting to see both side's pov as a firefight or battle develops. Also AARs or postmortems covering how things went sideways and how future battleplans can be made more robust would be really interesting.
These videos and stories you make with KOG and your community are honestly like a TV series or a series of movies with the level of editing you do and the missions and the PvP stuff you do is honestly the best PvP I have ever seen in this Community. You honestly inspire me to countinue uploading and improving my editing, Never stop Karma I thought your Squad content was S Tier but now honestly these Arma 3 videos go above the S Tier keep up the amazing work you and your community do. Never thought I would be sad over a video game
What a great Video, nice szene switch at the end with sunrise, at this point OPFOR had more Vision and the fights got really intense
The OPFOR POV was epic too, more of these please!
They didn't get support fires suppressing those ZSUs quickly enough, which let the enemy infantry get into position, and then they tried to just banzai charge through the resulting killbox on both ingress and egress, with ingress and egress unfortunately along nearly the same route and thus in the same killbox. The resulting communication breakdown meant air support had to figure out on their own that it was ZSUs on their own, and not friendly fire from the A-10, because nobody called them in. That combined with feeding two squads into a meat grinder trying to get 3 KIA from near the technical seemed like it turned the operation into a rout at the end rather than an orderly withdrawal, as far as I can tell. The situation with the techie casualties is why they say "don't reinforce failure", it's the same throwing good money after bad, they got tunnel vision on the casualties. They're lucky they didn't lose a Chinook on egress. The first objective was *much* smoother, KOG didn't let themselves get nearly as overwhelmed or bogged down. IDK what the official after action report says, but that's what I got from what was shown.
You think we could get a similar video but from the opponents pov too? That'd be cool hearing them trying to figure stuff out

I really enjoy these raids yall do, as an old infantryman 10th mtn 4-31. from 01-05 oif and oef, operations like anaconda in 01, and lightning 05, fallujah 04, brings back some cool memories. Keep it up brotha.
That zbu was alive forever they just stopped shooting during the night so no one noticed until it was way too late

I think you need to adjust opfor respawn to like 3 or 4 only. Unlimited respawn makes them play reckless which cause chaos you would t have if you value your life.

That was actually in place for this op! Only three lives per opfor; they still saved 2/3 caches
@@75pc44 well last time karma said 150, they killed 200 opfor. I would put it at 2. Cause if that was 3, how the hell they still have that many bodies at the end. With the air strikes and kias during the first cashe. Was you part of the op?

@@75pc44 well karma said there is only 50 opfor, the server can only manage 150 prolly total, you got 50 KOG, fifty opfor, plus air and artillery assets plus the Zeus, are you sure, cause I have never seen that many ppl on a server 🤔

33:34 An A-10 charging a ZSU head on is quite brave or stupid but good video none the less .
Fr A-10's have so much armament that can literally outrange the max effective range of the ZSU guns (8 kilometers). There is seriously no reason for an A-10 to be getting as close as the one in this video did. That would never happen in real life.

You should do one where you have to do an amphibious assault on a beach to take a town from insurgents before assaulting a fort in order to capture it to use against a large insurgent counter-attack

I would LOVE a reverse scenario of this. Special forces holding onto a FOB or airfield against numerically superior insurgent forces. holding off for a set amount of time before evac arrives. using air support, armor and arty to hold back the tide.
