This sort of thing should be like a free program for vets. I know that most vets who come back home and get used to overseas life miss firefights and everything, and it also makes some of them go crazy. I think if every week a couple of vets sat down and played some games that could simulate that sort of adrenaline pump and the feeling you would get overseas would help the vet community a lot! My father worked for Southern Air years ago when all of this was going on in Somalia and Africa. He was the one on the cargo plans and C-130’s air dropping supplies and food for the people suffering. More than a few times his planes were shot at by small arms fire while they were passing and making drops and people would stand under the airdrops for some reason and get crushed to death. Crazy shit. Makes me extremely thankful to live in the country I do.
