does not work like that since the original gtr r33 lm has 300 hp and an estimated top speed of 165 mph (264 kph) let's assume the original gtr r33 lm is as fast as you think, but the thing is this rc car doesn't use the original engine (tuned rb26dett) on the nissan gtr lm, why? because it doesn't fit. they could have made a 1/8 scale engine for this car, but it is too expensive and complicated to do, also even if the 1/8 scaled engine exist i don't see it being bolted on this car
Tamika should reconsider to re~release the TGX, as they did with the Rough Rider, Sand Scorcher and others. I loved mine but spares are hard to come by. The body shells were the best ever!
So many cool things in this video, functional exhaust (although it would be even cooler with the center exit on the body), scale dyno, working lights and signals, those wheels and of course GTR
I mean, you could probably stick an inline 6 onboard this thing as it is, it's just that the individual cylinders would likely be around .05ci in displacement each.

ROFL! Ive been a gamer & an RC enthusiast for 25+ years & I have never seen an RC on a dyno like this! I also gave up on Nitro RC's a long time ago when I realized they cant compare to brushless & 5-6,000Mah Lipo's but this nitro looks cool on a dyno! I wouldnt want to own it tho, not having to constantly tune RC's by having brushless instead of Nitro's & being able to race them for easily over 30mins before swapping the battery out is sooo much more fun than spending 80% or more of your time just trying to keep a Nitro RC running! My fav RC is still a 2WD Traxxas Slash with Traxxas OBA (on-board audio) on my home track, racing with friends, we even ram each other like a demolition derby! I will never miss Nitro.

The TRX series engines are temperamental, especially the TRX 3.3 which is effectively a "Big Block" engine with a "Small Block" carburetor which ends up restricting air and fuel flow. Plus, Traxxas's "Top Fuel" nitro fuel is known for causing temperature stability issues. The Dynamite Platinum engines I've run are literally just set once and go, only having to retune if there's a significant weather shift, and running them on Sidewinder means I don't have to worry about thermal instability and I don't even have to do afterrun maintence.

If another is built in 1/5 or 1/4 scale, I think one of those miniature engine builders could put together a baby RB to compliment the build.

What would be interesting is to have a 4 speed gearbox in this car and it do over 160kmh (100mph) that would be insane!
Its would lift off the ground at those speeds, the body isn't build for that kind of airflow
