Your child is perfect. I think you tried to indirectly acknowledge this in your testimony, but still, given the dehumanization of people with Down Syndrome in our world, I think it is very crucial to clarify. Your son is perfect. His unique condition does not make him any less than any "normal" person, nor does it make him deformed or wrongly created. He is precisely who God intended him to be, and that person is a beautiful person. That aside, I thank you for your story. I have PTSD, and a lot of times I find myself feeling, over and over again, that something went wrong with my life. I shouldn't have been tortured. I shouldn't have gone through those experiences. Your words are right that it is important to remember, even through extreme pain, that God has a plan for us, and that even though it will not always match our expectations, it is still beautiful and good. Thank you again; you and your family will be in my prayers.
How does god expect to be seen when he hides himself behind a smoke screen? One might say we are like children and him like our father but if we were designed with natural instincts why would he hope we betray them...he made them. This leads me to one of three conclusions. (A). He is hiding and does not want to be found (B) He is not all-powerful (C) he simply does not exist.
(D) because God is holy, and mankind is corrupted and sinful (unholy) cut off from God but Jesus brings us back to him then after this life we see God in all his glory.
What it comes down to is a personal relationship with God.....God is continuously ready to start that personal relationship with you....it's just a matter of someone make the choice to have that relationship with God.....you may choose not to.....but that will never change the fact God is with you and loving you despite ones rejection of believing in God
@Bita Bishopp Seriously you seem ridiculous to me, if a person decides to turn away from God then don't come and claim to want to go to heaven, if I decide to turn away from God and go to Hell it will be my own fault and decision. Atheists infuriate me because of their hypocrisy, they hate God but want to live in heaven. On the contrary, it would be very bad of God to force his enemies to dwell with him.
