Oh thank you so much for this video! I have now painted two times at an event. I am an illustration artist but I wanted to try painting on a big canvas. And I got the oppurtunity to do and God encouraged me to do so. And I discovered: it's so different! I'm working with other materials than I'm used to, people are watching me, and the list goes on. The first time I painted, it felt like I failed. It was an 'okay' painting, but I had so much self-criticism. When I was back home, God whispered to me 'go on, child, you can do this'. And I picked up my pencil and changed the whole painting. It was so liberating! 💖 To cut a long story short: I wish that I knew the stuff you've told in this video before I started painting live. I try to embrace my 'live-painting-church-style' instead of trying to holding on to my regular illustration style. 🧡
@@AnjaM-eb5ku hi! Maybe i used the wrong words. Ofcourse, the Bible is Gods word and His way of speaking and reaching out to us. But I believe that the Holy Spirit moves us to action. Maybe try reading Romans 8 :)
@@AnjaM-eb5ku I think I understand what you are trying to say. To make myself clear: it is not my intention to ADD things to the word of God. No one can besides Him. What I do is making art inspired by the word of God. In John 14: ''These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, by whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.'' God speaks in many more ways than just the bible alone, the Holy Spirit brings His word in remembrance. I hope you do understand my intentions. You are absolutely right about the Word of God. But our God is ALIVE and His word is within us. And art is my way of spreading His salvation message
