It depends on your need. Doing any video editing for example?
If you just use it for basic stuff, then 8 is more than fine
But maybe you will need 16 later.. who knows
16GB ram. To save some extra bucks, get the 256 GB ssd option, as you can get a cheaper external ssd later on if you want.

I disagree with the screen size completely. If you actually work on you laptop for some decent amount of time, 15 is so much better. It weights just 250 grams more and will fit in any messenger bag, briefcase or something in which 13 model fits. But when it comes to working on a larger display, it makes a real difference,
I disagree, 15 inch is heavy , it’s not considered a laptop but more of a desktop and for that reason I’m out. It sounds like you bought it and can’t return so ur trying to make yourself feel better and that’s ok but know that

@@gmailaccount4185 15 inch is 250 grams heavier. It’s like having an extra iPhone in your bag. It doesn’t make a noticeable difference. But when you work on that bigger display you can immediately tell the difference.
And no, 15 inch is not considered a desktop, 24inch and above is.

The truth is, you can fit a 15 inch in whatever you carry your 13 inch model.
The empty areas around the keyboard of MacBook Air m3 15 inches is just obnoxious
Geh... no no and no... 8GB is maybe usable on macbook right now, but in the future it will be something what will bring you down.
Its not cheap laptop so another 8GB of RAM (which cost apple probably about 10-nish) dolar is very bad move in order to save money.
Simply its no go. Also every youtuber is showing video edit and telling how good it is - IRL however job like this do minimum amount of people. Open safari with multiple tabs and you are done.
Please be a little bit more objective. I do understand it can be usable a little bit more than windows machine BUT for price like this there must be 16GB of RAM otherwise its almost scam....
A lot of the UA-camrs go along with what the audience might think , instead of providing actual advice unfortunately
@@gmailaccount4185 A lot of UA-camrs think that a laptop like this is "only for light browsing for a year". My brother in Christ, a thousand bucks is, in common sense, not cheap especially in the rest of the world. It should last at least till 2028! (that's just 4 yrs!) And by then the 8GB Ram will definitely be quite a lot slower! And Apple is properly capitalizing off of this!
Edit- Both RAM and Storage are non-upgradable as they are soldered into the chip. So, the better investment would be get extra RAM instead of the extra storage, and buy an external SSD later.
