Not Rock n Roll but Rock. I think Peter's music was soft rock. Rock and Roll disappeared when the 60s started. It branched out to different genres of Rock music.
I was 17 when Frampton Comes Alive came out. I wore out 8 tracks and cassettes playing it over and over. I know every note, chord, sound, lyric, crowd noise, everything from it. Come on….”Do You Feel” it? If you could take only one album to a deserted island, well, this would be it. It’s a masterful collection of music. Thank you Peter. It’s legendary.

You are dead right: those lines are so romantic and get me every time :-)
a brillant man, superstar since he was a teen,
I recognized this song when i was about 8yrs back in 1999 on the radio and fell in love with the song and P.F music but theres was a handful that stuck with me, my dad even tho he was a converted Christian he knew and showed me the good old 60's to 80's jams and found out on my own that 40s & 50s music also had rockin jams.. 2000 until now ive develop my own likings of music from around the world and its nothing like the jams from back then! My old mans jams
You Americans are good at impressive romantic music!!!!
Here Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Peter Frampton is British. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
At 15 I heard Comes Alive and was mesmerized, totally hooked surely I was your biggest fan. Every nite headphones on full album start to finish, every night for more than a year. Thanks for the hearing damage Peter!, At 60 now I still feel it, thank you brother!
❤Still with that beautiful voice. It’s bittersweet watching these amazing musicians aging, but I also feel blessed to have been a teenager in the 1970’s…when so much of this music was made. Pure talent, love it so!
Peter besides being a great guitarist you are an excellent composer - Baby I Love Way is a hymn to love.
Absolutely beautiful! Although I never had the privilege to see him in concert I still have Frampton comes Alive poster that I framed to keep it nice and it still looks great! And so does Peter! I grew up listening to his music in the 70's and I still do. My 15 yr old grandson was with me when this song came on the radio and he said what are you listening to and I said let me introduce you to music and they don't make this no more 😁 he smiled and even though he wouldn't admit it I think he liked it 😄 Thank you Peter for sharing your beautiful gift of music and talent! Much love always my friend 💖🎸🎶🎤🎧✌
Hello 👋 Michelle. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
It's sad that this generation doesn't appreciated the artistry that is Peter Frampton. I was 18 when Frampton Comes Alive came out. Never got to see him live. Wish I had.
@@markclifford1857 hi I'm from New York
@@michellemilone3631 me too. Long Island
@@michellemilone3631 that's nice. I have been to new York so many years ago and it's very nice there, I will love to visit again. I am presently working at Alaska arctic ocean. Have you been to Alaska before?
Still here in 23 baby! What an absolute masterpiece. Everyone still listening , much love and respect!
Have loved Peter Frampton since 1975. His music is part of the sound track of my youth.
And a side note: Who the hell puts thumbs down to this??
It’s a rare thing that a guy can be cool with long golden locks and then decades later cool balding with short hair.
Plus musically he’s amazingly talented.
Helps too that he is just an all around really nice guy. I saw his interview with Rick Beato and was amazed at his ordinariness, and drive to be the ultimate musician
.
nope fo me its not the same without the hair I saw him in concert and he was magical this is not working for me at all
Yes he is.
Had the honor to see him in-concert...such a gentleman and gifted musician
He aged gracefully. Still a handsome man ❤
Love love love! ❤
My Dad was diagnosed with IBM in 2016.
I saw you in Salt Lake City in 1991 at The Zephyr.
Looking forward to seeing you in SLC 4/2024.
Happy 69th Birthday today Peter! And thanks for all the great music.
One of the nicest and greatest performers...aged gracefully and with class! Thanks Peter Frampton!
I’m 70 yrs old and I still listen to Frampton Comes Alive CD in my car!😊

And he is pitch perfect 👌
The best to best,
Sadly he has a rare muscle disease but it hasn’t affected his singing one bit. Loved him growing up and always will.🥰❤️
I disagree he seems quite different
O cara manja das guitars!! Lol
I spent a wonderful afternoon at an all day outdoor concert at Eastern Michigan University sitting on the grass in the football 🏈 stadium in 1975, listening to Peter Frampton, YES and Dave Mason (45 years ago) make the whole crowd SWOON.
Happy touring!
Thank you ❤

🎉CONGRATULATIONS Peter Frampton!! FINALLY being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!! All of us here LOVE you and are so over the moon for YOU!!!! 🎉❤❤❤
He has genuine authenticity which conveys in his performances. He seems like a genuinely nice person. Be cool to share a shot with him... cheers. to an icon!
I am down with that!
He gave up booze
Well, a cup of tea and a grilled cheese sandwich will do as well.
Stephen Deac .... Clacicle, love that! Cup of tea and a grilled cheese sandwich. 🙂
Essa música é eterna. Thank you very much, Peter Frampton!
My daughter and I met Peter at Guitar Center in Cincinnati when our family lived there in ‘06-‘07. He’s very down to earth and extraordinarily bright.
Peter Frampton was my first love in college. This song was a big hit in the Philippines then. If only he had a concert there but I’m not sure if he had maybe I was just busy, nursing was tough during my time. If he had ever I would have cut classes and watch, l
It's great songs as this, that played an important role in our lives!! 1976 16 years young, camping in balmoreah lake, starring at the sky, listening to this!😎👌
Quite simply one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Thanks Peter Frampton for this masterpiece you've given us.
