    😊👍👋 I have a pin collection, nothing overly special, except pins from both my grandmothers. I wear mine all the time and supply my sister (a teacher) too. I just enjoy finding them and wearing them.

    The pins with the pink flowers around the 14-15 minute mark look vintage in a way that they would look really good in your Eastervdisplay✝️🥰

    The cut out coin pin is, judging the size, made from a ‘Rijksdaalder’ depicting Dutch queen Wilhelmina. Pins like this were widely made in WWII, to show support for the queen in exile in London at that time. In the Netherlands you also find bracelets, pins and teaspoons made in the same vein.

      I think that pin was a somewhat newer find. Possibly a summer flea market ❤

    I don't know if you know this but, sometimes, there are things written on the pin (needle) part itself.....just a head's up! Love ALL the glitzy things!!!

      Yes. I usually run my nail over it and if I feel bumps, I look to see what it says.

    I would love to see the process of how you replace missing rhinestones in your jewelry pieces. Do you use a setting tool and Aleen's glue? I have some pieces that could use some attention. My favorite pieces are the insects and the cats. Such fun. TFS.

    Whoa look at that soldering on the back 5:54 Very interesting! I’m sure there’s someone who’ll recognize that pooling pattern and recognize who made it.

    I love the Years pins! I saw you have a carved lucite pin. I have a few of those, and they are some of my favorites. I have on my wish list adding a large Victorian garnet brooch to my collection. Yours are lovely. Thank you for sharing this special collection with us. ❤

    • @TarnishedTreasures1

      Which one is the carved lucite? I really don’t know much about jewelry.

    • @sheilakadolph5002
      @sheilakadolph5002 6 місяців тому +1

      @TarnishedTreasures1 It is at around 13:47. You are showing jewerly you made out of pins. The lucite pin is a clear square with a carved pinwheel looking design. I am assuming that is a pin. 🙃

    • @TarnishedTreasures1
      @TarnishedTreasures1  6 місяців тому

      It’s a button but I didn’t know it was lucite. So thanks for letting me know.

    Love looking at your collection. Question, what sort of adhesive do you use when replacing the rhinestones. Will the adhesive change color over time? Your creations are so well thought out, I just love them. Thanks for sharing, say "Hi" to your sweet puttudies. Jersey Ann from NJ🎇🎇
