What battery type; brand and voltage was used for the replacement on the Jeep Patriot 2014 battery? Can you please link where the replacement battery was purchased? Thank you for making this video and showing how to replace the 2014 JEEP Patriot battery.
No problem. You will need battery group size 86. Group 75 will fit as well. 525 CCA would be standard replacement on Patriot, but if you live in area with cold winters I would go up to 650 CCA
Hello no. It should start right away. Sometimes if you buy brand new battery from a store it will not be 100% charged because it sits somewhere on the shelf for a long time. I have a habit of charging every battery to 100% before installing in the vehicle especially in the winter cos my vehicles sit and are not driven. But anyways it should start right away
You are probably referring to battery holder bolt. You can try using WD40 and hopefully it will loosen up. Worst case scenario it will have to be drilled out if you can't remove it. Sometimes those bolts rust out or even worse brake when you try to remove them and then only fix is to drill it out.
Star of winter and mine just went out lol, this video was a life saver for me 😭
Glad I was able to help :)

Do you have to jump the car after new battery is installed?
