- There isn't much that guarantees me a loss in Apex, but the 30-30 Repeater is the closest thing I can get. However, as if struck by an epiphany, I saw its power and hoped for great things. The trouble is, greatness isn't exactly commonplace around here....

Those were some great games, and loved the Music Soundtrack on the middle game, as it was quite fitting, and REALLY thought you were going to pull that one out. Also, I know the 30-30 really hits hard, when you land a shot, but I've avoided using it, except when it is the only weapon I can find. I've even swapped it out for a Mozambique. HA! ...which you were kind of using it like a shotgun at some points, so maybe that is what I'm doing wrong with it. HA!

Man, Fuse is so underrated, especially since they gave him two knuckle clusters off rip. Wraith will always be my favorite, but every now and then you gotta switch it up. :P

I love the 30 30. Feels so good to use and shattercaps just allows you to turn it into an improvised Eva 8 at a moment's notice.
@Zach Litchfield Versatility. Like you said, you can use 2 different weapons for a better effect than the one, or use 1 weapon with lower effect than 2 AND still have another weapon.
@Zach Litchfield Good point. But 3030 is easier to use at range with a 3X or 2-4, plus it has higher damage potential. And at close range It's nice having up to 12 shots, being able to reload one at a time and you can charge it for higher damage, and with a gold mag it auto reloads, which the Eva can't do.
@Zach Litchfield Oh sorry, "easier" is subjective. I should have said "provides a closer sight picture due to increased zoom." Also higher damage potential "per shot," although the wingman has a slightly faster TTK, and the 3030 has a slightly higher DPS when considering mag sizes. I thought you would implicitly understand, but I should should always be hyper specific in comment sections just in case. To answer your question: you wouldn't. Clearly. I would because I think it's fun and have been using Eva 8 since season 0, now I have a weapon that has some strengths over the wingman and Eva, but some weaknesses as well all in a single weapon. I forgot to add another pro, I can carry 60 ammo per stack rather than 16 with the Eva.
@Zach LitchfieldYou're totally right as we compare it only to the Wingman. And yes, you're correct about the Spitfire, which is one of the factors causing people to think it's OP (DPS is perhaps a poor term usage on my part, so I'll change it to damage per mag) although I don't think it's OP. But adding the fact it has a secondary fire option that is more forgiving than using a Wingman up close meaning it can be more reliable to use to finish an enemy, is something to consider. Especially as the damage fall off due to pellet spread is less than an Eva (fire at a dummy in firing range and as you move further away, the Eva will drop in damage at a higher rate proportional to distance). Individually, it's overall weaker than each respective weapon, but the fact you can even compare a single weapon to two separate weapons is my whole point. Versatility. I can run Wingman, Eva. Or 3030, Flatline. 3030, Devotion. 3030, R99, etc. That's the objective reason to pick it up.
