Wow, the miracle of 1971. Just glad there were no lives lost. Another slight Bank (Rear approach) and S-curve type, you're giving a real treat. Nice bit of speed here, freshen the habit, but a pretty big Station aside 9.1 Millie per. Brisk and beautiful, like the day. Thanks!
It was great to read that no lives were lost during that accident. Just a shame that it happened in the first place, but this was a great station to come to and one that I would happily come back to later next year
The challenges are because you are after the split at Clapham Junction you miss all the 458s and the 707s that don't do mainline running. I will say I wish the the 442 plastic pigs were running again to get a bit of variety.
Great video from as you say a station with style. In one of your previous videos you were mulling over why Freightliners intermodal services hardly have any containers on them. I think it could be that GBRf and DRS offer better rates to their customers than Freightliner do. Keep safe, regards Gary.
Thanks very much, this was a great station to come to and one that I would love to come back to at some stage and spend a bit more time here, the way it's laid out is very pleasing to the eye. In terms of the freight that I was talking about many moons ago I think it's more to do with what freight is booked onto what train. As each train has a set departure time which all the TOC's try and adhere to, should a freight train get delayed and held up it can actually end up costing the company a hefty amount of money because the customer has paid for their container to get to the port by a certain time so that it can be loaded onto the correct ship and then forwarded onto it's final destination.
I wouldn't know, I didn't see any signs on the line suggesting what the limit heading towards London was, my only assumption is that there was a temp limit in place for that weekend
If you want to do some trainspotting at stations with ticket barriers, just ask the staff on the gate line if you could pass the ticket barriers to do some trainspotting
I always enjoy your videos, which are of excellent quality. But more entertaining is your narration with editorials on the behavior of a person on the platform standing within the yellow line. Stupidity is visible on both sides of the pond.
Well thank you kindly for saying so, I'm glad you're enjoying the content that I produce :) unfortunately stupidity is to common nowadays. It appears common sense no longer exists amongst people
russell morgan so all their trucks are the same makes and models?. I wasn’t talking about the paintwork . 444s and 455s are identical as a fleet type. Try not being smart: you haven’t the ability. Go well

Art Deco Station for the win
Nice video 👍
thanks very much
IIRC its 60mph through platforms at surbs

Great video
thanks very much
Great.
Thanks very much
That's the train station from harry potter and the half blood prince
I'll have to believe you on that one
Do you have to buy a ticket to stand and film on the platform? Or can you just walk on it?
The station is ticket barriered so you either buy a ticket or get off a train and change between platforms
If you want to do some trainspotting at stations with ticket barriers, just ask the staff on the gate line if you could pass the ticket barriers to do some trainspotting
Another station I needed to google
It's a good station
Does Surbiton station accept oyster because I swear it’s still in London
It is in the Oyster Zone. Zone 6
Yes. Its in Zone 6. Just in london

Turbostar!
My Local Station
It's very good
Tornado922 even though I am not even in senior school yet I have used it I guess over 600 times great station and gets 9 million passengers a year
Also a train departed from platform 2 which doesn’t happen often
Surbitage Urbitage Lurbitage.
Indeed
I have to admit they all look the same
same company trains usually are....saying that goes for anything....Eddie Stobart doesnt use tesco livery on his trucks lol...
russell morgan so all their trucks are the same makes and models?. I wasn’t talking about the paintwork . 444s and 455s are identical as a fleet type. Try not being smart: you haven’t the ability. Go well
Getting bored of the same trains now mate come on spice it up abit
Well I can't help that. This is the mainline I'm doing this year. If you're getting bored then simply don't watch it.
