Thanks so much for your hard work to make this event a huge success!!! Jeremy is just as awesome in real life as you would expect!
I love BBQ, smoking meat, TEXAS, drinking beer, and hanging out with friends. Bit, there is no way I would recommend any outdoor event in August, in Texas.
Much respect pulling off this event and overcoming all the problems and making it happen no matter what. Make the next one in the fall or spring, even winter, it'll be much more enjoyable for everyone!
It’s awesome seeing the different POV’s from everyone. 😎👍🏻👍🏻
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is beautifully shot. As much as it suuuuucks to be up that early and in that heat, this footage is so great.
What a fun video!! Love it. Great to see those early morning shots. Can’t wait for the next one
As a BBQ fan and wannabe pitmaster in BC Canada, I'd love to attend this. Love the channel JY, cheers.
Wow. Never thought I’d see these two great UA-camrs collaborate. What a pleasant surprise.
The one thing about this video I love and I have seen Matt’s video, Chudd’s video, and now yours….everyone had a smile on their face and had a great times.
You and Bradley are honestly my industry idols.
I almost died at 1:28 🤣🤣
This event has the same look and vibe as the moonshine festivals I attend. I am truly blessed to be an American.
Epic music…salute…back to plug in the fridge. lol. Funny edit.
I’m glad you guys put on such a wonderful event for people to come and enjoy. Barbeque is such a great thing that can bring people together and I think you guys are just doing a great job representing that. Keep up the hard work we love to see it.
Love the dually!
Love the Orion shoutout. lol 10:15
It's so great to see legendary smokers working together love it cheers from grumpy in oz
Watching from Australia, looking forward to BBQ in Texas soon.
that shot lifting the door up of the smoker with cigar in mouth....is boss
this is an all time video, love the vibes of it and am only 5 mins in. Editing is mint.
Right on. I've watched all the other videos from this event. Looks like an epic event for sure! I have a feeling there was probably a lot of unexpected issues in the planning vs. delivery of all things needed for this. But looks like you guys pulled off an incredible event. Congrats!
I just got into smoking brisket a few years ago. Been working on perfecting my technique. I actually only ever watched a couple of your episodes and worked on my own after that, but I want to give credit where credit is due. I enjoy your videos, your energy, and most importantly your love for good smoked brisket. Pay attention people and you will be making amazing smoked brisket in no time. Keep up the good work.
What a good hang! Looks so sick
Chud wrapping a brisket in butcher paper is dope
God bless America and BBQ!!!!
@1:28 I'm dying lmao
Been WAITING for this comment!! 😂
You guys rocked this event! I wish I could have been there!
Love the subtle Dave Portnoy reference, "one bite, everyone knows the rules."
Looks like a blast!
Thank you for coming to TX. It was great to meet you and it was delicious. Sorry it was so hot but that's August. BTW the temperatures here the past couple of weeks have been perfect.
I've only been smoking brisket for about 2 years now and of all the pages, I love yours the most. I learn so much and I really appreciate your style of smoke, using your background and science to make your BBQ even better. Even though we don't do everything the same, you have helped me find my own style of smoking.
I do have one question... I love dry brining my ribeye steaks (salting the meat about 24-48 hours before I grill). I have noticed even when I cook it well done (huge steak foul) for my mother in law, it is still very moist. I have adopted this technique on my brisket over the past 3-4 smokes but can't tell if it really makes a difference or if I'm wasting my time. I'm not experienced enough to know the difference yet. Have you ever tried this?
Yess happy to finally see your side! You guys nailed it even with all the bumps in the road
Awesome video!!
It was an awesome event! I've always wanted to try Jeremy's brisket and was not let down.
Really wish I had known about this event! Would have been there 1000%!!
Lol Brad with a Miller Lite in hand at 4am
What the Hell? Why was I not told about this shin dig?? Looked AWSOME!
Very cool event not far from me. Wish I’d known and joined y’all. Love your channel and this looked like a great time. Just needed more whiskey.
Yeah Texas baby, best state there is bar none.
You deserve a rest after all that, Sir. Well done all of you!
Come do this in south carolina please!
Good times man. Looking forward to the next one!
Can’t wait for the next one. Definitely going!
That was the same weekend my church had their annual BBQ. I think we did 1400 pounds of brisket this year but I know we have done as much as 1600.
Here's the story I've been waiting for.
Exceptional edit, b-roll, music edit, storytelling, wonderful wonderful stuff all around. Massive congrats on a masterfully crafted event recap and story.
Great video, I watched Brad's video too and DAMN I WISH I LIVED IN TEXAS😂😂
SIMPLE ANSWER: cook the full spares as is, pat em dry, season and cook, leave on the flap meat, trim nothing. Old school BBQ
I'm surprised that you didn't sneak off for a few minutes to take a dip in the Guadalupe.
When it gets that hot... the river is very warm, close to bath water.
Jeremy and Brad together my two favorites. Would have loved to bin there.
Y’all R Beasts!!! Excellent content Jeremy!!!
Saw you on Bradleys video a few weeks ago and had to subscribe...... enjoy the videos!
Sad I missed it. Looked like an awesome experience.
Awesomeness all round 🙌 👏 😎 👌 great video 📹 👍
It's super hard to actually make a video at sometimes like this as it's so busy but you definitely managed to get enough footage for sure!
Awesome! Love you guyz! 🤤
Amazing event Jeremy! - Cheers!
Great video. Except for the sides guy hilarious 😆
Smoked raccoon is on the menu.!!
Nice dually truck!
What a great video, bro! Got me excited for a smoke this weekend.
Wish I would have about this event!!!! Will this be an annual event
Ok, which one of you guys knew that was Orion...? Good call. I love astrology. Thanks for a fun video, and please keep'em coming. Love this channel.
Longhorn beef is leaner than other breeds and is lower in saturated fats. Also higher in Vitamin A, CLAs and Omega 3 Fatty Acids, all crucial in reducing Cholesterol, Diabetes, Cancer, and High Blood Pressure
So what you’re saying is that brisket can be health food…
Well done
Glad to see Matt Carriker there
Looks like a GREAT TIME there.
#STAYSAFE
#PHILLYPHILLY 🇺🇸
nice!
Were the briskets already trimmed when you all got them or did you all have to trim those too?
What did you guys do with all the juices left in the serving tins? (WOuld think it would have a use for someone to take home. Gravy?)
Never been into the new-age, bougie "country" scene. Grew up in Texas and "country" really ain't the same anymore.
That said, would loved to have tasted the various BBQ'd meats! Love a good brisket.
Been waiting for this video
Solid 3 hours of sleep 😅😅 Always the case in BBQ 😅
Would’ve , could’ve, should’ve, grabbed some cow patties. Everyone would’ve enjoyed them.
That's an elite meat fest
Those are Daddy Long Legs (Harvestmen) at 4:00 but not to be confused with Daddy Long Leg spiders! They're weird as heck
Pro tip: Don't wear Black in Texas Heat. Looks like a blast though guys!!
Umm, had ever considered doing stuff like this in a cooler time of the year????? March/April... October/November??????????
Where was meat fest held? How much does it cost for an invitation? A fan
|Truly Mad!
Great show! Now we need a follow-up showing us a bit more about the food reviews.
Matt Carriker didn't seem thrilled.
Soooooooo, what gives?
Waiting on you to make a Haitian Ohio-style BBQ video...
It is true that Longhorns are very lean.
4:15 "Why are they shaking like that" they heard some scientists want humans to eat more bugs. Like, while knowing it, not 'Welcome to Jack in the Box, it's not 50% cockroach, honest'
WHO INVITED DEMOLITION RANCH??? THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD LOL
The bromance between Jeremy and Brad is true friendship goals.
That’s crazy work 🫡❤
Nice Trumpf 😂
Algorithmic engagement comment.
Now we know Brad does NOT have a thigh gap.
1200lbs of surprise Ohio meat
Hello there long time follower first time in the comment section
I am just south of you and have now owned a small local diner and well you wouldn't guess it but i sell brisket and if you are ever in the knoxville area of tn i would love to have you try some of my brisket because well honestly your videos have gotten me to where i am. We have even had multiple people from texas say the brisket is good.
If you are ever near by on a Saturday look me up and i would love to hear what you think about my brisket, pork or whatever you would like to try
Off road diner and dogs
bbq is seriously hard work with terrible hours. great meat takes great effort.
Out of all the comments, pay attention. Marble Ridge out of New Haven, Mo is where to get your meat. The owner is a multiple BBQ champion
Killed the Trump impersonation!
Good Trump impersonation!
Terrible video. Just 16 minutes? Let's get a whole series of the process.
Believe me, with 3 days of footage it pained me to figure out how to cut this into a short story 😂 I’m with you-a series would have been so fun!
Slow getting your video up, decided to be original?
Nope, it was just a difficult edit along with the two previous videos and took me a long time unfortunately.
"MEAT FEST" doesn't sound too appealing.
Grow up
13:15 bro that chick needs to put some clothes on how do you let someone walk around dressed like that with little kids present
Never been to the beach?
You miss the entire part where dozens of people were swimming in a river and they had inner tubes for people to use?
oh well matt cried over the rising sons bunker thing, you know, the guys that work for the feds, and now I will not watch him or anyone who collabs with him. Unsubbed.
What happened??
🚪
Don’t let the door hit ya
Darn it how did I miss this, and we are 30 minutes away ...my bad ... will be at next one ...Jeremy and Brad have taught so much that I even make awesome smoked meats now .... Great work Jeremy ... and Love me some Boerne TX hospitality.
That's an awesome job guys, love the trump impression Jeremy!!!
