Thanks Tom, I'm anxious to get it on the road, parts are a little difficult to find but I'm working on it.

@@kentuckyyankee I want to see more! Much, much MORE! I hope that when you put this little girl back together again you get the underside frame, and chassis painted with black rust olem paint including the underside of the bed, and if the floorboards are in still good shape and don't need welded, paint them to. Once done, sand this little girl down, prime it, and spray paint it a nice color, and two gallons of paint on bed liner coating is in order for the bed to protect the bed. This is a nice little truck ya got here!

Great vedio, what ever that goo was that came out of the transmission 😱. Never seen pistons like that. A lot of cleaning but it has a lot of potential. 😈

I would say, that goo is probably neglect from not changing the transmission fluid. Laugh at me if you will, it's always important to change the transmission fluid on a regular 20, 30 thousand mile basis along with the rear end 90 weight greese. Matainance, goes a long, long, LONG way. Then you'll find out that your car or truck will last you much, much longer with trouble free, reliable service.

Can the cylinder be honed, or do you have to bore them? Great video by the way!

Gonna try to get away with honing them, but certainly would be better to bore them out.

Just a guess… the truck hit a big bump or some other abuse, broke an engine mount, engine fell against the cross member bending the oil pan and cracking the pickup tube. Loose pickup tube gets knocked around by the crank popping a hole in th pan.
