So if I can’t think of what to write, I’ll fill out these questions for that day: What am I grateful for, proud of, worthy of, excited for? what do I want? And sometimes I’ll include a spot for wishes for others. These prompts change depending on what I feel like I need help in thinking about
Wow, you wrote every detail in your journal! It's like the chronicles of teen in the 90's. Mine would be a lot less interesting 😄 Writing is very therapeutic, I feel so much lighter afterwards. But don't put too much thinking into it. Just write as you feel, 1 line or 1 page, doesn't matter. I've also started a diary for each of my kids. I write now and then how they look like, what they're into at that moment, what we share, what I love about them. They don't know about it and I'll give it to them when they're older. Childhood memories through my eyes
I used to write holiday diary’s. And stick in silly stuff collected from the holiday. Paper napkins with the cafe logo on. Rail tickets. But this video was lovely. I felt like I was transported back to 1995. Yes more videos.

It’s funny why people keep diary’s. But it seems that you just used to write in your diary. My mum keeps one. And she writes in it daily. But not in that current day. Sometimes it can be just factual information and sometimes it can emotionally which tends to be the day she writes her dairy page on the actual day. And when I mean emotional it not always negative or sad emotions. I think I get a big A4 diary so I can stick in newspapers clippings and write about feelings if I haven’t got much to say on a current day.

Don't be too hard on yourself! Journaling is a great escape, and doesn't have to be a daily "chore". I sometimes take breaks (weeks, even months) but I've been consistent in the long term as I've been journaling since I was 9. Not everyday, but a little bit every year. And it's so precious to have these memories of old me! So just write whenever you feel like it, it has many benefits. Take care
