I use the Hawaiian Roll biscuits for these. The dough has a little sweetness, then I make a glaze with powdered sugar and coconut milk. My kids love them.

Will have to try a honey/butter based canned biscuit or other sweetened dough biscuit to get a better result for that type.
If I have to use a regular type biscuit it'll be with no holes cut out. I'd want to fill them with either cream, custard, jelly, jam or other pie-filling/gel flavors.

I just got a similar air fryer and was thinking the same thing…. it reminds me of my easy bake over….you should consider doing a few easy bake. Oven recipes…. I got my niece and easy bake oven …. The mixes are expensive
