Hello dear I recently bought a jimny 2016 (1.3 engine) *I had changed a premium spark plugs *New castrol oil *new brake pads * had droped a premium quality bottle "injector cleaner" in the fuel tank It has only done 44,000 kilometers, but it was with a lady who doesnt care about regular service at all. Anyways im facing a problem in fuel consumption, its just driving 150km/20 liters Which is considered very very low It must drive a minimum if 220km/20 liters. May I have your help of what could be the problem ? Thank you
Hi what was the reason for using the injector cleaner in the fuel? Is there any smoke when engine is running and what colour were the spark plugs before you changed them? I would also change the fuel filter, it's on the fuel pump inside the fuel tank
@@owenkelly2198 thanks for your reply Well as i bought the car as a second owner i would liked.to do minor important service, and as noticed it was rudely treated from a lady who doesnt care about maintanance or just give it to a bad garage to treat it. Though the car is low mileage as stated. So I decided to change oil and oil.filter and spark plugs after one week maybe they will be touching the metel they where in very very bad condition nearly dead, when i changed the spark plugs noticed very small difference in the fuel consumption (better)but still its consuming alot (though as a note fuel here in lebanon is considered dirty and bad quality but even though its consuming like a V6 engine taking into consideration its only 1.3 small engine not a 2.0 or 2.5 V4. I decided by myself.to add the injector cleaning in the fuel as a safe side step thats it, though there is no smoke coming from the exhaust only when on cold start becuase its winter so its normal. So what do you advice ?
So do you think considering to change the fuel.filter might help ? Does it need an experinced mechanic or just a normal one? Is it easy to change or hard mission ? Sorry for alot of questions
@@hawada2983 yeah I would definitely change the fuel filter if the quality isn't great, it will be straight forward to change yourself, just work methodically and in order
what size of socket wrench to remove the spark plug from the Jimny big hug here from Brazil.
Hi, can you addt a list with what you used, what oil, sparks, etc ...
All the parts used are off ebay, item no 293381008210 thanks

@@owenkelly2198 I think also changing the fuel filter would be an advantage in solving the fuel consumption.
Thanks for your time
hi, why oil 5-30 instead 10-40?
Hi, 5w30 is better for winter where I'm from as it can get pretty cold, thanks
