  • After the fast action at MRP we decided it was time to slow down just a bit and get things in order. First a bath, then damage control, followed by cold weather and scaling. Using our ProForm Wireless Racing Scales we hope to dial in the right side percentage. Stay tuned to see if moving the battery made a big difference or not. If you have enjoyed our racing uploads or garage updates make sure to like and subscribe! Thanks for watching!

    Hunt The Front guys about burnt their 604 car up with that style fuel pressure reg/fuel log set-up. Actually caught on fire. Might want to look at their episodes to see what they changed to. Moved the regulator inboard.

      We have seen the fuel situation with HTF and will take consideration for change. The fuel setup now how worked excellent for the last three years with out issue. Not saying it shouldn't be changed and we feel we can do it our selves only having to buy much but a few fittings.

    Too much rear guys! Gotta get that racecar on more of a balance. 54.5 left 54 rear or even less for a 602 car Is plenty. I can send ya some numbers that I ran on my 602 and ran very well with if you’d like.

      Feel free to send us what you got. We realize that the rear % is too much and have backed that down. Always open for suggestions.

    60 percent rear is a lot. Especially with a 602. Good luck.

      We had quite a bit of fuel simulation there at the end. It was too much and the number went down quite a bit with taking five gallons off the back. Everything with the car is give and take. Question always is what works best for driver and track...

    Less rear more left will make the car turn better (you got a 602) rear percentage is not important

    • @LateModelGarage
      @LateModelGarage  3 роки тому

      Roger that. Why does more left % make the car turn better? Most guys we have spoken with were shooting for %54ish left side %. Just looking for your opinion.

      @@LateModelGarage more left makes the car turn better because of Newton’s 1st law. An object on motion… you know the rest. If you’re familiar with Newton’s laws you know that we can look at systems such as race cars simply as sums of their parts. In order for a vehicle to negotiate a left hand turn, the right side of the car will have to accelerate relative to the left side of the car. Since the left side is heavier than the left side, it takes less force to accelerate the right side past the left side.(Newton’s second law).
      Hope this helps. Please reach out if I can help further.
