Dr. Patrick Moore also has very interesting information on this topic.
you can see her distress in her eyes and voice... very sadening :(
Joe Black W⚓️!
Mother would not feed her chick with plastic other than maybe small pieces for digestion usually they use small pebbles for digestion but will use any solid object around the right size. I would say that these pieces of plastic are maybe carried back for nest building.
You said that for no reason. The birds are eating the plastics, you see the babies vomiting up large pieces, and plastic in the bodies of dead albatrosses
They’re not carrying them they’re being washed up on the albatross islands in tonnes
they are lying to u

This is so sad
I have made a comment before regarding such matter and it read "Humans are to blame. Something not most would admit" on a Blue Planet II video (Mothe pilot whale...) For at the time I already had an understanding that, pollution doesn't just affect your neighbourhood, it does not take an expert to know pollution travels, carried by winds and sea currents. What you dump right now in your street, will end up somewhere and take a life, it may be far or near.
Our time on this planet is borrowed, we can make a change.
Real talk. British people do nature shows better than America.
this is absolute not the message of the video...
That’s because British people have no nature to actually see
David Attenborough is a treasure, regardless of nationality. He's in his mid-nineties, so generations have been able to learn and enjoy his narrations for some 60+ years.
I REALLY LOVE THIS VIDEO:3
The most Beautiful Bird most Beautiful animal in existence they look like a cross between duck and seagull
and your cross between a fool and an idiot if you believe this totally debunked film. fact.
I have nothing to say. I'm just albatross lover, and this is making me sad.
This is a lie, birds have two stomachs, one is called a gizzard, this stomach is used for grinding down the food. This bird instead of feeding its chick pebbles to put in it;s gizzard is using bits of plastic. So yeah this is pure propaganda as it is not feeding it plastic at all, it is giving it plastic so it can help it grind down it;s food.
This is sad but I remember growing up toys, food and liquids such as milk containing more and more material for packaging and mainly cardboard and plastic, compared to what they used to, I just don’t think the current government care, streets are full of rubbish and roads full of potholes and more and more cars on the road. David Attenborough for Prime Minister I say
Look at what Dr. Patrick Moore has said about this topic.
Unless you’re living like it’s the 1800’s you’re the problem
Does anyone know the type of bird at 0:25?
We Humans are the worst thing that happen to the planet Earth
We have been at the top for too long
www.albatrossthefilm.com
Life and the planet will be fine, we humans however are the worst thing to have happened to humans.
Jed Prickett I wish that were true but it ain’t.
Care to explain why?
For an equally devastating and beautiful documentary on the Albatross and it's relationship with plastic go to www.albatrossthefilm.com to stream the film free. Life changing
If u visit the beach leave it cleaner than when u arrive...
This is why you should do your recycling if everyone recycle as much plastic as possible worldwide it would at least slow down the problem but the big multinational companies do need to stop putting so much packaging on things, even in the super markets now i see plastic covered on apples and bananas etc its insane! even when i opened a jar of honey the other day it still has plastic around the lid! whats the point of all this extra plastic... but people must recycle. so many folks in the block of flats i live in cant be bothered to recycle... we are the only ones who make the effort
not using plastic is better idea rather than recycling. using steel, aluminium or ceramic instead is a good idea!
True, but we have no choice. Basically everything comes in plastic: bread, frozen food, shampoo, cleaning products, dog food, and there's no alternative not to use it. We should place a tax on plastic to discourage companies from using it and introduce a plastic bag ban (Western Australia, my home, will do this in July).

You do understand this is staged, right?
Very depressing 😢🤢🤮
dont worry, its bollox
Banned plastic always
Patrick Moore said that you lie
so sad
Its funny we never see the plastic being regurgitated, it must be super rare in nature. This is like taking a bunch of dog toys putting it the ground and then saying man sparky really ate and shat all these objects.
It has been proved since the series that these videos were faked.
Blue planet 3 showed the tonnes of plastic washed up on albatross island near Hawaii and all the dead chicks with plastic in their stomach
yonis
mohammed
School work anyone
Staged.
Absolute nonsense, that bird hasn't been killed by a toothpick. These plastic items were just washed up on the beach. This video is for the hard of thinking
I hate to say this, but to any parents out there: I don’t care how much your kid begs, screams or pleads. Think of these albatross chicks every time he or she demands a plastic action figure or some other meaningless trinket made out of it. And then have the courage to say no.
Yeah exactly so things will never change. Apart from the box ticking, back patting brigade- no one is going to stop buying. Same applies to single use coffee cups. No one cares THAT much to want to be a reusable cup.
@iSOLACIUM Depriving a child of the toy they're throwing a tantie over is not "punishing" them (or you), it's basic parenting. Tantie should not equal reward.
Not once did my parents buy me gifts from the toy rack (just christmases and birthdays) and my biggest peeve with them is NOT letting me play in the "fun" mud but the boring coarse sand, not the deprivation of the cheap plastic tiara from Shoprite. My parents themselves had NO toys but the shit they made themselves, and my dad is still a pretty good woodworker because of it
Try not to make your children THAT materialistic at that young a age, just think about what you're using once in a blue moon and try to opt for eco-friendly options where you can, its not "all or nothing".
"Thinking", and altering your lifestyle slightly here and there should not be seen as a "punishment", just suck it up ie. get used to the cardboard straws (like I had to)...at least they don't get stuck up sea turtles' noses
I’m gonna refuse my kids something because some lady on tv says birds are eating it. How about recycle your rubbish correctly.
is this chick colony is the new one? and its proggressing
This is a lie
Lol, so staged
I HATE HUMANS! This is soooo sad
I have made a comment before regarding such matter and it read "Humans are to blame. Something not most would admit" on a Blue Planet II video (Mother pilot whale...)
