- So I binged this show and really loved it (albeit there was some iffy stuff later in the season but 2020 sucks so let me have this) It was nice to vid something that wasn't shadowhunters or ouat so I hope you enjoy!!!

Had they understood each other sooner, the season would've ended sooner. They showed whatever happens after a happily-ever-after wedding. All those misunderstandings and challenges. 💖 I can't wait for Season 2. My heart is glowing. 😩

This show is the best thing this year. I didn't think I would be so hooked from the first episode but it was wonderfully written. She married her best friend. Their chemistry is undeniable.
I want a love like this in my life. I have never seen such a chemistry in a couple. Does it exist in real life, or is it just unreal? Who knows..

To correct you the weren't exactually (best)friends.
This series is almost PERFECTION. daphne nailed the innocence. Her facial expressions, her eyes... goodness. The Duke is too good to behold. He is so gorgeous. The entire story is just captivating. All the actors and actresses nailed their role. The music! The costumes! The entire...... hoping for a season 2 please
They've been renewed for 8 seasons because it did so well

My fave parts:
1) when Daphne falls off the horse and Simon is worried
2) After they get married and they’re in the inn and Simon tells daphne that it’s always been her
3) when they have their argument over Simon lying to daphne about not having children. Daphne was so upset and hurt while Simon was as well but realizing how much he had hurt her
4) during the opera he reaches for her hand. She goes off to cry and he feels her pain
5) the way the bridgertons welcome Simon into the family. Hyacinth running to him like simons one of her real brothers
6) at the end when Simon is so happy with his life. You can just feel the load he got off his shoulders realizing that he was not his father nor did he want to be his father. He loves daphne and he was going to love her forever
I'm glad he finally accepted being loved and also loving her in return💕
I think you could place any Johnny mathis song in their bridgerton part take maria and replace Maria with daphne

Wow, I do not remember her falling off a horse as well... how interesting that both Daphne and Kate fell off a horse and only then their so's realised how much they love them... in both stories
their chemistry is unreal, I honestly love them so much. I would’ve loved to see more of them during Daphne‘s pregnancy but I‘m happy with their ending . Who knows, ✨perhaps✨we‘ll see more of them in season 2

That would be sensible but wouldn’t make as an engaging dramatic story.
It's hard to open up and talk about hurtful things...his dad said a lot of hurtful things to him and the worse was saying he was dead, his mother died when he was born...if it wasn't for lady Danbury...😢
Well it is years later and I'm still watching this movie. I have watched it every day for the last two months twice a day. Season 2 is coming next week on the 25th of March. Can't wait 😊

I read all the books Quinn wrote in this series.....they were all good, but the reason why this was so good was the casting. My favorite story was actually Colin 's story..... hut wow.....Simon! A star is born....he reminds me of Mr. Darcy

The clothes, the moves, the classical style,the modern music, evry detail is addictive, the story is something else, hope there are more seasons .
I loved Daphne and Simon. I just couldn't get enough of them. So happy they stayed together! Their deep love for each other was mesmerizing!

Gosh their connection is so romantic that I fell in love with them both.
Why did Simon think she didn’t like him?? That made ZERO sense.
1.) She kissed him in the garden, and they legit had a make-out session. Bear in mind THIS WAS HER FIRST KISS. And he knows that.
2.) They had that holding hands moment at the gallery.
3.) She was always following him around & felt devastated and rejected when he said “they were never friends” (which was an asshole move in his part btw)
So I really didn’t understand why he went on this whole tirade of Daphne not having feelings for him. DAFUQ???
- He confessed at the duel that he couldn’t have children. He knew her dream was to have children.
- He blames himself for kissing her which led to them having to get married (which he thought she was settling for because she didn’t have a choice).

You are sooo right. That scene on honeymoon night made no sense. They were both acting like the other person didn't like them. Simon tells Daphne that he dreams and thinks about her 24 /7 and says that everything he told the queen was true. And how does Daphne respond, "I don't understand. It's not clear. " I was getting fed up with both of them. The writers must have just run out of ideas for that scene.
This might sound chessy but this show made up a little for this freaking strange year.

Honestly I’m my opinion I think the most underrated scene with these two is when they are posing for the portrait, and Simon puts his hand on Daphne’s shoulder and they just stare into each other’s eyes, it is so intimate and touching, it is probably my favourite scene.
Love that this is couple they focused on first for season 1. I imagine Anthony will be season 2. Should be interesting given his stance on Love at the end of season 1.

I started watching the show late Sunday evening till about 1:30 in the morning as soon as I got up Monday I finished watching the series I enjoyed it so much I didn't want it to end the Love story between them seemed so real but who wouldn't fall in love with the Duke... I hope and pray that it will be a season 2

Wow this clip is really intense and voluminous. I feel like I've watched the whole show in 13 minutes as it has covered almost everything between Simon and Daphne. For those who have not watched it yet, do watch it. It's great. I've already watched all 8 episodes and started over and I'm on ep 5 now. I'm sure when season 2 comes along, I will rewatch this one before I watch that. But I may even watch this again after I'm finished with my second run. I've nevver felt this way about a show (or about a star - Rege-Jean), or a star couple before. Love, love, love it and them.

This looks like the kind of story I would like to read/watch. When I married my husband in 2004, I did not realize we would be childless still. Yes, that means it has been almost 17 years. I can not say I would have married him if I had known, but now I know that without him I may not have still had children. It is not only him tat is infertile. When I watched this video and got to the end, I had tears in my eyes. It's a lovely ending, but not mine. My sorrow lives. I remind myself I became a family when I married my husband, but that does not take away my sorrow. It lessens it. It's a feeling I live with every day.

Ive watched this series two times over. It is my favorite netflix show and this comes from someone who watched Greys Anatomy, All American,Riverdale ,Shameless,TVD, The Originals ,and etc. The twenty years of waiting has lived to its potential indeed....

But then I learnt that Rege Jean Page has left the series, and now I am heartbroken, and moping about, and I don't know what to do anymore 😭😭😭😭😭

Great series, they say romantic comedy dies. But we see the success of Bridgerton, and it is all about good script, best actors and cameramen work, costume designers... all the team. And we have series watched all over the world with adoration. We want to see romantic relationship and we see great chemistry between two main characters. They are great. This show had me in all sorts of emotions. I cant explain it properly. If you havent seen this yet i would encourage you to so so. Its captivating and the love story between the two is beautiful in its own right. I was a mess during some scenes and i like to think i can shut that sort of thing away but not with this story. My goodness i am beyond thrilles that i gave it a chance. I could watch a show strictly about the two of then for multiple seasons. They played the roles to perfection in my honest opinion. Award winning performance no doubt.
The best love story I think I have ever seen. Actors just perfect, I could watch this over and over again and I have. Just terrific. You know it has to be I have never seen so many people who feel the same in just loving what you accomplished .
