why arent you editing with your pickaxe out?

They made standard two hand pickaxes delayed with editing, only one handed pickaxes/ special grips work for editing

Just for some extra clarification, there isn't extra delay to the editing itself. The delay is in how long it takes for your pickaxe to reach full size in your hands after editing. This causes edits to not look as good as it once did, as the pickaxe no longer flies around at full size anymore and shrinks in hand to a point of no longer being visible when editing at a decent speed. As @tyhymn mentioned, this effect does not apply to one handed pickaxes and other not standard grips.
