I used to watch Guava Juice when I was a kid, he's Rolanda and Richard videos are golden to me. Majority of his viewer base just grew up, he failed to follow the current trends and obviously burnt out. Not hating on Sunnyv2 but it's obvious that he literally just sits there all day looking at Socialblade of any UA-camrs statistics so he can make a content out of it.

Watching a creator I love from start to finish is really bittersweet. Watching them grow as a channel and sticking with them during the decline, all the way to the last goodbye video. It's an abbreviated life cycle, kinda like a beloved pet. Don't be sad it's over, be happy it existed in the first place.

  • @Diaily

From what I see, he burnt-out playing a character he can't be anymore, on top of that managing a channel, tv show, and products can be to much for some people. Take GameGrumps some might know them, they do a lot from playing games, comedy skits, made two bands, did world tours with bands and stand up shows, made animations, made their own games and Voice act, the list can go on and this started back in 2011 and still going. The key for success they didn't put on a act or keep up with the meta. They talked about real-world experience and that's all it took for fans to follow and still able to balance their family life.

I partially disagree that content targeting kids isn't entertaining for adults. It really depends on what kind of content we are talking about. I'm also in my 30s and recently discovered Remi Gilard. I really enjoyed his certain pranks especially if they were harmless at the same time even with all my obligations and responsibilities. There is certain level of being an "adult" aka mature where life becomes joyless because even simple happiness becomes apathetic because we worry too much ;)

6:30 10 Things you shouldn't do, when your name is ApoRed:
    1. Throw a backpack into a group of people pretending for it to be a bomb, and scream incoherent words while running away.
    2. Upload (1.) on UA-cam.
    3. Get a court summons, and not attend it.
    4. Get thrown in jail until the second court summons happens.
    5. Insult the judge.
    6. Downplay the "bombing prank" incident on stream.
    7. Explain your tax evasion plan in a UA-cam video.
    8. Get totally shit on for unsolicited touching a girl in 2016, and fall for a catfish who uploaded that on UA-cam right after.
    9. Get a UA-camr as your stalker for defending your UA-cam friend, who then leaks your address to the police and government, and unravels the lies about your estates on UA-cam.
    10. Become a Dubai Resident.

14:52 Absolutely not true for me. As a kid, I overwhelmingly preferred entertainment that featured adults over kids. Anytime they shoehorned a kid into a show I like, I usually hated them. Loved the Muppets, disliked Muppet babies. Loved Scooby Doo, despised Scrappy. The old adventure serials that had a kid, I wanted the kid gone because the whole thing ground to a halt whenever they were on screen.
Johnny Quest was okay, because he wasn't a brainless tw*t, and there were a few others, but those are RARE exceptions. And from what I've seen of modern kiddie fare, the child characters are no less stupid or annoying as they were back then.

21:30 Despite how inspiring the lesson attempts to sounds, I can help but heavily disagree with it. The "keep swinging, keep trying" attitude isn't the right one for everyone. Dude has a family and responsabilities, and he is aware of that very clearly. Dude knows he can't afford this "keep swinging attitude" that's often glorified. It's like gambling: no, you won't make your money back if you continue trying. Sometimes the best course of action is just to quit and start something new. He had a good run, he became very popular. I understand he doesn't want to lose that just yet, but success doesn't care about what you want.
