I was so excited to see that there wasn't one new video I hadn't seen, but two! As I was watching I was thinking about how the heart of an artist comes through in their work, and I couldn't figure out which was your bigger gift, the fact that you seem to be able to make beautiful artwork effortlessly, or the fact that you can bring so much happiness to so many people by simply letting us watch you create! Either way, thank you for adding more glimmer and sparkle to our days than you do to your artworks! You truly have many gifts!
Another absolutely gorgeous piece of work, Rach! I love the colour scheme, the gold embossed text, and the little semi-circles around the edges. It's fabulous. Great sentiment, too. Shoshi
Another great page. It is so wonderful to have a cup of coffee and see what you have come up with. Very inspirational. Thank you so much for taking the time to share. Off to the craft room !!!!!
Oh yes, watching your videos is always so inspiring. It reminds me to use my PanPastels more often, do more heat embossing on pages. I think I have to sit down at my desk now befor I forget. Thanks a lot.
Beautiful love all the detailing I'm calling this my birthday piece because you posted it on my birthday and I love it Thanks again for keeping me so inspired
Some really great techniques. I really like the idea of using the spatula singe to accent the paper sayings especially crossing the ends to accent their placement!!
What a wonderful Video, I am always happy to See hat there is a New one from you. I love them all. You give me so much inspiration, thank you very much. Christina
I like this a lot! my favorite colors! (and congrats, you must have hit the big time, cuz you now have that one hater all the time...that's a mark of success, you know).
Although I'm a card maker, and lean toward a very different style for home decor. There's something about what you do that is really inspiring me to go buy a canvas and some paint and use my stamps and go to town. What you create is unique and fun. I'm finding myself gravitating to something new. I really love your style of art. Thanks for sharing!!! P.S. could you tell me is there a difference between stazon ink and archival? I don't own any archival.
Both can be used for pretty much the same purpose. There are some chemical differences which alters the uses with some mediums, but both are a permanent ink. I find StazOn a little sticky sometimes, and I stopped using it altogther in journal pages since it reacted with some of the mediums I used and changed colour. It's all personal preference though, and depends a lot on how you wish to use it.
One of many things you have done that I love love love.. The journal alpha stamps you use are still a must have but I can't find them at all.. Where can I get them as I must have them. I have looked on Creative Expressions site and can't find them..
The stencilling was done with a piece of Ranger Cut N Dry Foam - Pan Pastel make sponges too, specifically for applying their pastels, but I just used what was to hand, and it worked pretty well. Later, I do use a Pan Pastel tool and sponge applicator (when I was out lining the text)
