I love the vid and I love the fact a husband and a wife share and be with each other doin somthing so fun and nice. Thank you for showing that you dont have to trash everything to have a good time.
I remember watching this video when it came out, I ended up talking my uncle into getting a grizzly, now my step father and I all own grizzlies because of your videos from almost 10 years ago
Picking up a new 2019 Polaris 850 with Camso T4S tracks this week, it was great to see the performance of the tracks and especially the drag race. I was unsure how the tracks would effect the speed, but it seemed very respectable compared to the Grizzly.
My friend and I go ATVing here in Canada when the weather let us LOL. We like to see what other people are doing and share videos with them. Thank for posting you video friend! Have nice day! Cheers from cold Canada
Thanks! Glad you liked it. The steering is much, much harder with the tracks and that is with power steering even. Especially if you try turning sharp while going slow.
Cubbeezx, Another great video! I've done a lot riding up in northern Canada on ATV and Snowmobile. Wish we had that type of riding her in NYS. Glad I'm only about 20 minutes from the border! Keep the great video coming! Maybe we can meet up someday for a ride...
Hi there, glad you enjoy the vids and thanks for watching. We are in Ontario but the other end to NYS...up by the Manitoba border. Lots of great areas to ride though!
OK, you guys win the snow contest - lol. Ours is finally gone, I think. I haven't been in any bush yet. As u were ridin', I was wondering how the tracks felt in the "non-snow" terrain . . . and then u told me. Then I was thinkin' they seem much more stable than tires . . . and you told me. Then I was wondering about the traction . . .and u showed me when u backed up the hill - lol. Awesome editing as usual Cubster! Awesome vid! Thanx for sharin'!
Lol. Yes Agree all the way. I also ride with one of my friends. I have a Grizzly 660 and he has a Kodiak. Pretty cool to see the same ATVs riding like us. hehe I love your relaxed and positive tone of voice in the video. way to go :)
The differential of locking is always a good choice! LOL... Shall we gather a the top of the cliff? Just checking my English === Thank-you for sharing this great ride with us!!!
Any ATV is a good ATV! There are so many things to consider, it's a hard question to answer. How much money, what terrain you ride, used or new..you get the idea.
I think I see tracks in Canadian Kodiak's future !! Early spring is another great time for tracks, as you have found out !! WOO HOO !! This looks like a great trail and the right time to be on it. Funny how the tracks make it look so easy !! HAHAHAHA !! That was funny how CK got ya back by splash'in water on ya after you beat her in the race ... HAHAHAHA !! ...and the sand hill ... Yup, I see tracks in CK's future for sure !! WOO HOO !! THANKS for shar'in the ride dude !!
Hey there, I am having a hard time setting up my Go Pro 3. Videos are coming out kind of hazy, and when loaded to you tube look like very poor resolution. I am at 1080p 60 fps. Can you do me a favor and let me know what you have yours set at. all the settings. I just want to set it and forget it. And your image looks very nice. I would really appreciate that. Cheers Ernest. Maybe a short vid on what you are doing with your Go Pro?
oh okay. nice. I see some red light or button on your plastic cover between the handle bars. would that happen to be a bypass for the reverse limiter? and what mods do you have on your green beast?
I am reaalllllyyyyy enjoying your videos THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for posting them. I am from Montreal and i really want to do a atv trip from here to ottawa! Thanks man!
Great video. It is nice to show a real life comparison between where the tracks will take you VS the tires. I have a couple of traplines in Alberta and wish to try a set of tracks on my side by side instead of buying a snow mobile that will sit in the yard for 8 months of the year. I wonder how they would be in a meter of snow or on the floating bogs?
Grizzly on tracks . . . whose yo daddy? Lol. Had some good times on mine this winter. That's what I love about the Tatou 4Ss, perfect for the "tween" seasons. What kind of chain saw drill press do you have mounted to the front rack Cubbee?
Your videos amazin me every time. Coll ride again. The gryzz didn't make a problem of towing as we could see. It must bee fun to prtened to bee a tank. The snow should realy go now we had enough. Thanks for the vid
That's a good amount to spend. If you are buying used I recommend trying to find one that has been well maintained....4x4 is nice if you might be riding in some mud/swamp.
Thanks for watching and commenting! For us it's all about the exploring and enjoying the outdoors....we sometimes find mud, but don't often go looking for it, LOL
I cant believe that even with tracks the grizzly still beat the Kodiak. Nice ride. After watching so many of your videos, I am thinking of getting me a Go-Pro and making vids of me riding my dirt bike. They wont be as good as yours, but I might give it a try.
Thanks very much Walter, appreciate you checking out the vids and glad you enjoy them. Be sure to enter our BIG GIVEAWAY! $$Big Givewaway$$! The Cubbeezx & Kimpex BIG ATV/MOTO Giveaway!
oh okay! lol What kind of clutch kit would you recommend though for the 700 grizz? and I've tried to look up videos of how to install a clutch kit and install a shim on my 700 but I couldn't find anything.
The GoPro 3's are not set up very "out-of-the-box" friendly. They record mostly in a "flat image" which allows full range of post production color and contrast rendering. Programs such as what Cubbeezx use "Final Cut Pro X" or Pinnacle Studios, Sony Vegas / Studios, After Effects all have very powerful rendering and vectoring processors built into the subprograms which allows full range of editing. I'm not sure "Cubbeezx you can correct me on this", but Final Cut is a MAC specific program.
Hey ya Cubbee awesome video but I just noticed at the end of this video whatever happen to CK funny yellow slow sign in the back of the truck.Oh yeah now that the snow is gone you ought to get out the old honda 350 dirt bike and drag race it with the grizzly I think that would be awesome to see.
Hi there ! I read a reviews in my country of those tracks for ATV, and they written that it is badly to use it in mud and sand, because it causes attrition of this delicate mechanisms inside it.
New subscriber here. I loved watching your video, I am just getting ready to purchase a new grizzly 700 and have thought about tracks. Cant wait to see more of your videos.
Thanks very much for watching and glad you enjoyed the vid. We too watch the summer rides sometimes when we are sick of winter to remind us of the summer!
Awesome ride you guys had! I was trying to remember if I recognized this area you were riding in from some of your other vids or not? Definitely a cool area for sure! I look forward to the Zilla's and the wheelies returning! lol I really liked this video alot, the music was cool too! Thanks for Sharing!!
Ok fair enough. Then does ice buildup in the bogeys affect it. I want to upgrade my yammy but getting a lot of ‘fair warnings ‘ about bogeys getting easily wrecked by twigs stones and bigger chunks of ice. And getting counter advice from the dealers who want to sell their tracks to me that never happens. Just looking for a consumer’s opinion. Thx.
We do try and clear out as much snow / ice as we can after a ride in the winter as they are just loaded. The heat from the exhaust turns the snow to ice and can make it challenging to get all of it. Even with some snow/ice staying in the suspension and the bogeys on the tracks we can honestly say we've never had any issues...nothing has broken and everything keeps working. The tracks turn the ATV's into little tanks and they can go through such deep snow. When you are stuck though....you are stuck! Here is a video if you are interested that we made showing us tracking through some REALLY deep snow! Really shows what they are capable of! ua-cam.com/video/VGLhwMNSBCo/v-deo.html
We only ever used them on this ride in dirt/mud conditions. Only ever use them in the snow as one can go much faster with wheels on. They are all season, but don't have any experience with them on sand. Maybe other viewers have and will comment. Thanks for stopping by!
Great videos,Thanks for sharing! So now that you have tracks instead of tires would you mind telling me if there are any disadvantages with tracks vs tires? They seem like fun, & im thinking about getting a set when i get a new quad this summer, cheers!
Thanks for watching and commenting! We've really only used our tracks in the winter...they are great for the really deep snow and going fairly slow around the bush/trails etc. You go a lot slower and use more gas...harder to steer and not near as maneuverable with the tracks but go ANYWHERE...turns my Grizzly into a tank LOL. For road running, tight trails and summer riding tires win out for sure. Hope that helps.
We originally had Tatou's but for the last 5 years have run the KIMPEX WS4 Commander tracks and have been very happy with them. Yes the Grizzly has a 700cc engine
@@cubbeezx I got my tracks on ATV grizzly 700 yesterday . Tracks camso x4s. I will download video later. You can also fallow me on Instagram Greenland_guide
wow its weird to still see ice out on the trails haha. Geeze, me and a few buddies where up to our racks in mud this past weekend. I bet it would be fun to hit some off cambered trails on those tracks. with all the added stability. Great vid as always cubbeezx.
Love your videos..thanx for the entertainment ..i was wondering..can you drive in 2 whl drv with the tracks on ..like on a packed trail..or is it hard on the atv?
Thanks for watching and glad you are enjoying the videos. Yes, you can drive in 2 wheel drive with the tracks on...on a packed trail it is probably all you would need. It's when you get into the deep stuff that you need the 4x4. Shouldn't be hard on it at all.
I am looking at getting a set of Camoplast Tatou 4S tracks. I would like to know how they are when you have to go over logs in the bush? I would be using them for moose hunting. I have a 2012 Polaris 550 XP with a EPI clutch. Thank you Jeff from Timmins Ontario
We haven't really used ours a whole lot Jeff as we got them late last winter. You do have to be careful going over bigger logs or you will get hung up between the tracks unless you throw something in front of the log to help the back tracks over. Not sure what the size limit of log would be before you have problems, I guess it could depend on the conditions. We just have installed ours again and there will be a new video with them tonight. Hope that helps.
Jeff ATV We haven't got hung up on any logs yet, but, as you will see in the new video, I did get wedged between a standing tree and my fender. The tracks stick out more than I remembered! Ooops! lol
Great video cubbeezx looks like the Kodiak still running good after a long winter. I should tell you me and my friend we were riding in some deep water and he had like the tracks like you have and in the water there was a survey stick and when we just got out of the water he pined it and his track came off lol and that was funny. But he got it replaced today and got some ss 212 rims chrome 12 inch and mega mayhem tires awesome. :):)
Your quality of video and production is outstanding. you earned a sub :) i especially love when you bring the old toys out. Ill be getting my hands on a 98 big bear 350 and from your personal experience what are they like on the trails? and how about maintenance things to watch for?
Thanks very much for the kind words, and we appreciate you checking out our vids. Love our big bear. It is a bit of a rugged ride compared to the new quads as it has a solid rear axle but tough! We haven't had it restored for that long, and so far no issues.
Hey sir I absolutely love your videos! I was wondering what apps you use to make your videos? I am a new gopro user and I'm just, learning how take videos while roding! They r turning out good but I want to get them onto UA-cam. Any suggestions?
Ben Weber Thanks very much and glad you enjoy the videos. We use Final Cut Pro X for the mac to edit our videos in. The youtube video editor is a good place to start though, and it is free!
How wide is the Grizzly with tracks? I just bought a 2016 Grizzly and will be buying the tracks this fall/winter, just wondering how wide it makes the machine. Thanks! Peter Ray.
Yes that's great thanks! Just want to make sure my trailer is big enough and that the plow is wide enough. I enjoy your videos, and they helped me make the decision to buy the Grizzly, I pick it up next month--can't wait!
Wow. I just subscribed to your site. I have enjoyed watching you and the Miss videos. I live in Ohio. I have never seen tracks on a Quad. Your toys are impressive. also. Are you using some kind of voice activated communication with your wife? Also its nice to watch a video longer than 3-5 min.
Hey David, welcome to our channel!!! Glad you enjoy watching our adventures. We just got the tracks last year so haven't used them a whole bunch. We have external mics attached to our camera's which record the audio. Glad you like the longer vids...good with popcorn!
We have driven a little bit on the road with them, but aren't the best conditions for them. They are made from a very tough rubber....will hopefully last a really long time. We really only use ours in the winter when the snow gets too deep for tires. They are amazing in the deep snow!
"Still dragn' the Kodiak!" LOL My Kodiak is definitely not that clean and is all stitched up with zipties..but it never fails me (since I got a battery maintainer.) I would think youd get all kinds of brush and branches and debris jamming up the tracks. Would not want to have to try and fix that out in the middle of nowhere.
It always cracks me up when CK tries to rock the Kodiak from side to side. She moves but the Kodiak doesn’t. Cubbee, never ever say your wife is waddling through anything. Just free advice from someone who has made that mistake.
+Shelly K The Kodiak 450 we have handled the tracks just fine....top speed is reduced a lot with tracks, but for just "cruising" around it didn't have a problem.
Stephen Luciak To be honest, we've only ever used them once in the spring...always used them in snow. They would work good in muskeg I would think, but if you got stuck I bet the suction would make it very difficult to get it out!
I love the vid and I love the fact a husband and a wife share and be with each other doin somthing so fun and nice. Thank you for showing that you dont have to trash everything to have a good time.

Hi there !
I read a reviews in my country of those tracks for ATV, and they written that it is badly to use it in mud and sand, because it causes attrition of this delicate mechanisms inside it.
What does the 'SE' part of the Kodiak stand for? In the description you have 2011 Yamaha Kodiak EPS 'SE". Thanks!
Special Edition...it has different wheels and the "blue" colour. Thanks for watching!

I have a question for you Cubbeezx how wide is the grizzly with the tracks on ?
Cam Trathen It is about 59" wide with the tracks on..takes up a lot more space than with the tires on.
cool ty if its that wide my mini beep can go on your trails couse its only 4 feet wide and 4x4 but only goes lik 5-10 mph
what would you do if you encountered a wolf or bear? I am a new subscriber and I'm loving the vids so far!
What year is the kodiak 06 or 05? i have an 05.
I'm used to an 86 fourtrax 250 so i know rough rides haha
Looks like the tracks are going to some good use! I'm jealous!
The youtube video editor is a good place to start though, and it is free!
can you post a link to your gopro cam mount please? I can not find that mount anywhere.

Your welcome. Yeah I'm down in Washington U.S.but I'll check it out
How wide is the Grizzly with tracks? I just bought a 2016 Grizzly and will be buying the tracks this fall/winter, just wondering how wide it makes the machine. Thanks!
Peter Ray.
The tracks really widen the "footprint" of the ATV's...approx. 52" wide and 8.5 ' from very front to back. Hope that helps!
Yes that's great thanks! Just want to make sure my trailer is big enough and that the plow is wide enough. I enjoy your videos, and they helped me make the decision to buy the Grizzly, I pick it up next month--can't wait!
Yes, good idea...wouldn't want it hanging off the edge LOL Glad you enjoy the videos and you'll enjoy that GrizzlY!!!
you should post a vid of all the challenging places !! would be cool. im a new subscriber so idk if you already have one posted!
What province are you quadding in? I'm in Manitoba.
cool
I don't know what atv to buy. well I'm 14 years old still but I now a lot about atv's. I have a Polar bear 125 and I need a 250, have any idea's.
Glad you like the longer vids...good with popcorn!
with these trakc can you drive on the road? / how long do they last and what are they made of
We have driven a little bit on the road with them, but aren't the best conditions for them. They are made from a very tough rubber....will hopefully last a really long time. We really only use ours in the winter when the snow gets too deep for tires. They are amazing in the deep snow!
Wish I had trails to ride on like you guys do
"Still dragn' the Kodiak!" LOL
My Kodiak is definitely not that clean and is all stitched up with zipties..but it never fails me (since I got a battery maintainer.)
I would think youd get all kinds of brush and branches and debris jamming up the tracks. Would not want to have to try and fix that out in the middle of nowhere.
what is the v-max on tracks?
How do you get the ATVs on the trailer, when using tracks, now that you have wheel locks?
We can only fit one ATV with tracks on the trailer and we can remove the wheel locks which comes in handy!
It always cracks me up when CK tries to rock the Kodiak from side to side. She moves but the Kodiak doesn’t. Cubbee, never ever say your wife is waddling through anything. Just free advice from someone who has made that mistake.
Will a 400cc handle tracks ? I know the bigger the motor the better but I want to know if a 400 will turn the tracks
+Shelly K The Kodiak 450 we have handled the tracks just fine....top speed is reduced a lot with tracks, but for just "cruising" around it didn't have a problem.
How are those tracks in the muskeg?
Stephen Luciak To be honest, we've only ever used them once in the spring...always used them in snow. They would work good in muskeg I would think, but if you got stuck I bet the suction would make it very difficult to get it out!
