Just a suggestion for a low population OP: There was a story of a tiger that kept visiting an Indian military base, and the commander was unsure what to do about it, so they called up a zoologist. The zoologist said the tiger was looking for help, and asked for volunteers to follow him into the woods. The commander permitted it, and the zoologist and a squad tracked down the tiger. They found the mother tiger, who stood at a distance, and then found her cubs were trapped in a hole created by the rains. They rescued the tiger cubs, and after they removed them from the hole allowed the mother and cubs to reunite. The tigers wandered back into the woods. The soldiers and zoologist returned to base, and the tiger wasn't seen again. Mission Complete. I think this true story would be great wholesome plot twist op, or as part of an anti-poaching op.
If I were part of this clan i would tell the ground commander where to shove it and go join another. The leadership was both toxic and incompetent from the beginning, and his snide and hostile comments discouraged people from asking questions or taking initiative. This was basically "read my mind and do what I want while I insult everyone".
Edit: I really enjoyed watching and enjoy watching these SCP/Sci-Fi ops. Call outs are fun, it’s like half the fun of having comms. It sucks but ground command sometimes needs to micro the fuck out of squads since some leads don’t take initiative very well.
Lol iopis did a lot of blaming in debrief for things he should have communicated mid-op. I've seen better communication with a console planetside 2 squad led by an 8 beers in drunk canadian. That said, I hope TSB improves and chills a bit. But most of these people I doubt are new to Arma. Good luck Liru
Honestly when they were warned to spread out after being buzzed multiple times and proceeded to clump further if I was zeus I would taught them a swift lesson In a similar manner, I see nothing to apologise for with that mass cas they had it coming plus the fact that no one was calling things in and then claiming the other person was the issue etc etc was a.bit of a shitshow but was still fun to watch
And the LT got postedto a hole in the ground from which his career would never emerge. Great example of all the things to NOT do. Stopped listening as iopis blammed everyone else.
Sometimes Mission Failure needs to be a thing, they will complain (Like I'm doing) but I think the scenarios are too easy and that's why some Players are slacking off as it's just a shoot things and drink beer style of game so why bother with tactics. The truck and the cheese it are good examples of letting the Players "Win" even when they make bad decisions might as well just said "You win when they got to the truck. Towards the end Ground could have said something along the lines of "Alpha at the front 100 meters, Bravo takes the rear same distance and Charlie and Delta take the sides. I want air assets upfront scouting and calling out targets to JTAC. I hate to say this but stop healing the truck Mission fail is fine just end the mission. Apart from being too helpful, I don't think Liru has anything to apologize for the Players did it to themselves.
That said, they were told that the mission was over once they were out of the shaded area on the map, and then the final ambush came outside that area. I think Liru just forgot what he said earlier.
First thing I thought, is if Arma has separate first person and outter models Like some games have tge model others see be a separate asset to tge one yiu see in player view. This would probably require the gun mod to be fucked

To summarise this op in 5 words:
**The ground command is incompetent.**
tbf it is like herding herds of cats most of the time, add some multiple radio channels and some chaos and it's really not an easy thing to do.
I was a bloody bullet magnet in that op

1:17:45 "how is that thing still ok??!" -falls over- *BOOM*
I like debriefs. Especially if they are constructive and people learn.
Thats the hope!
Nothing is simple with this group, there could be a dozen of them vs one ai, and they would still find a way to fuck it up.

People just follow whoevers voice sounds the most confident. Majority of the time they arent competent "in the field" leaders.
Overall is the ground command's competency that matters for organisation and planning.

Ahh, planetside drunk command... Either brings great things or crashes and burns.

Ground command was very bad in this op
1:13:00 I laughed.
It is pronounced Shinook, not Chinook. Named after the Salish Sea tribe.
