Dashy is more solid than a miss.
Pred is also a hit or miss. We can't have two hit or miss SMGs. We need a solid all-around player.

Fine I'll agree kenny brings a lot more on the table than it is visible, one might also argue that it was solely his mentality that got em the major 3 title but he played lights out during major 3. Whereas shotzzy never had a bad series the entire major 4 quals where his team was getting owned, shit they were defeated by boston to top it all off.
They brought in pred to put up numbers, to slay basically. But he ain't doing his darn job.
Dashy played really well on lan but again the numbers he put up weren't against top teams so idk if i would even call him solid if we solely talk about his past months performance.
And about hydra i feel like him and shotzzy play too similar and even hydra runs around the map without playing the obj so one of em have to adjust and change their play style meaning idk if they would be the best versions of themselves.

Even though Clay may be retiring, he's still better than Accuracy. I actually don't understand the logic. CAR was far more competitive vs the top 4 then MIN and Clay plays at a faster pace than Accuracy WITH slightly better stats.

Hydra took to long to learn the game to be mvp. He is the best player now but wasn’t even top 3 most the year
moving ghosty up between cellium and cleanx. moving kenny down between skyz and insight. pretty much agree with all the rest. yes ghosty hasnt won an event, but hes also the only reason thieves are going to champs. hard carrying all year.
In the NBA they give the MVP to the best player of the team with the best record so by those standards SIMP would be the MVP

Just got to the mvp convo. Ace is faded. The idea that hydras numbers mean more because his teammates are worse is complete fugaze. THE FACT simp has the same/slightly higher numbers despite the elite teammates he has is fucking abnormal if hydra was on faze he’s dropping a 1.06 because there is only so many kills to go around and he plays more like Abe than simp. Actually think simp on New York enables kismet more to be the bulldog and allows sib to go rouge just that little more too. Also disregarding scrap who’s far and away the best ar in the game is ridiculous. You think they could replace him and still compete for chips 😂😂 fucking comedy gold.
If were talking the full year for mvp, hydra is the only one to have had a t12 placing this year out of scrap simp and hydra.
That's a valid knock on HyDra, but a T12 at the 1st event of the season should count less vs. winning the last event of the season, when it matters
All that matters in cod is championships, if nobody has two on the year, all the guys with 1 are on a level playing field. We didn't celebrate 2nds as a community until faze had a trophy case full of 2nd places
@BreakingPointGG oh agreed 100% but when they say the full year is what we're counting then that's it. Honestly i feel like simp has outplayed hydra anyways but just making a point for the rules they gave.
Especially egregious is the fact that we WANT to see dominance, we WANT to see FaZe be a dynasty. But it's just so far from reality with the way they've performed the past three seasons. Same way we WANT to see OpTic win.

MVP meaning Most Valuable Player, has to be Hydra. Nysl is literally nothing without Hydra. You take each teams remaining trio without simp, scrappy and hydra then its clear cut nysl have the worst trio. Cellium, Drazah, Abezy and Insight, CleanX, Envoy are both better trios than Sib, Skyz, Kismet this year.
But simp does OBJJJJ clearly better than hydra scrap /s

04 not being in a is a fucking travesty, he’s the best sub not on a top 4 team and played better than envoy and kis over the past 2 majors, in big games he’s been let down by his teammates.
04 only played half the season. He would likely be higher if he played longer

Against the top 4 he’s the one who’s always looking like he can compete a guaranteed 6-8 kills in snd this pedigree is ridiculous. Could it be a one season wonder? Yes but fuck me this is some half season to have.
No rookie has had this consistent of an impact this year. 2 majors in and he’s been the best/most impactful player on the team without the bumps in consistency the likes of abuzah, gwinn lynzz have had.

Simp is doing better than Hydra in 2 game modes, but because Hydra makes chaos look good, he thinks Simp won't make NYSL better. Actually, Simp would bring better structure and comms to them, and Hydra would make Faze more chaotic.
They're nearly identical in overall kd (1.14), and HP kd (1.14 vs 1.15). Simp has the better SnD KD, while hydra has the better control KD. What exactly are you attributing as "chaos"? Hydra has a larger impact on his teams success than simp does due to simp having multiple other MVP candidates on his team, while hydra has 3 A tier (at best) players alongside him. Hydra doesn't have the overall league KD leader on his roster by him, and no other NYSL members are in top5 for any other statistical categories. Hydra is carrying worse players to the same success as simp. As to could they swap places and both teams succeed, yes they could, but faze would improve because hydra is doing identical to simps with less support as is

Also, Simp has a better HP KD with wayyyyy more hill time than Hydra(bottom 3 hill time), better SnD KD while being the primary bomb planter, Simp has almost 100 more zone captures in Control with having very close KD 1.11(Simp) 1.14(Hydra). So how is Hydra a bigger impact again????
