He applied the most pressure by saying things like he’s not worthy of the Fury name, stay in Saudi if he loses, become Ronaldo’s masseuse and don’t disgrace his brothers legacy or he’ll be disowned. That’s way more pressure than the pundits, social media and the mainstream media could whip up combined because it’s deeply personal pressure that someone as sensitive as Tommy (he cries while singing Disney songs and no not to Bambi because that would be cute but on Love Island!) would take to heart and obsess over. Brand Fury clearly means a great deal to him, after all he did switch his birth name just 4 years ago. With his family saying shit like that he felt like he had everything he’s ever known at stake, that’s serious pressure.
Not to mention that he accepted the multi million all or nothing deal Jake offered on Tommy's behalf. Mad respect that Tommy walked the walk, but John Fury needs to pipe down as he is more of a detriment, if anything.
