My dad got me into rock music at a really young age ever since he's passed away I've been an extremely serious rock guitarist. It's very worth it though. i miss him
The anthem for any middle aged guy who loves Wheels, women, spitting, shooting pool and sinking whiskey shots 🤔😁
wtf
SO? Whats your point?
Joshua Pinner cringe
'cept Uncle Ted don't drink.
actually I'm 16. i love wheels and women though
2024 i think this song is still GREAT
uncle Ted giving much respect to reality every day!
and here i am at 36, i remember going down the road with my dad when i was a kid and hearing this song. two days ago i went to hospital because of fever and a swollen lymph node, after numerous test done i was diagnose with cat scratch fever.
Michael goo
I was just diagnosed with it today lol
Did you have it bad scratch fever?
I never knew it was a real thing until a friend got it
My brother used to play this on his guitar when I was a tot.. and now my son is playing it for his tot
One of the most bad ass songs of all time
If you were raised with this song your parents have great taste of music
And you most likely have cat scratch fever since u were 13 lol
And those of us who raised our kids listening to this have great kids.
My parent's (Big Band Era) had no idea what I listen to and I wasn't going to let them know anything.
[Mutually Assured Deterrent]
Product of my time.
I guess I am your parents😁
My grandkids listen to this song with a mix of KISS, Aerosmith, ZZ Top and many other.
One of the absolute greats from 1978...the year I graduated from high school
i also graduated in 1978 and yes this song really rocked. its still great after all these years
I'm sharing this with my kids..they need this..
Excellent...
I bet your kids will comment all about you and this song. Even if you pass away as a good memory.
Never listened to the full song before. I think it's great.
When I was a kid, my dad used to start playing this on record full blast to wake my brother and me up, and then beat us with jumper cables. I miss him deeply.
I was a goodie two shoes when this song came out but, I bought the 45 and LP and now my husband has turned me into a cat scratch fever! And we are married for 42 years! 🙂
This dude and EVH were the guys that made me wanna play guitar and learn everything I could about it.
A lot of guitarists journeys started with The Motor City Madman
Oh geez, I forgot about this song, loved my early teen yrs.
So much great music 60s 70s...we had so much fun.!!!
Hi
Awesome song ,awesome time in history as a teen jammed to nuggent, partied all night some wild times greatest rock and roll ever made in seventys ,my opinion . I'm back there when I listen to you.
My friend Russ turned me on to Nugent in the late 70s. From the Dukes to stranglehold just pure rock and roll, pre AC/DC. Always a good listen. Thanks Russ. 👍
Only concert I’ve ever been to was ted nugent in Pasadena, Texas this was the last song he played he said “are you ready for the number one riff in Texas?” Then proceeded to crank this out, and oh yeah the stage was littered with guns and bow and arrows
Regularly attended his New Years Whiplash Bashes Detroit MI
Nice! I'm from Pasagetdowndena!
LOVE IT
One of the most iconic riffs in RR history.Up there with smoke on the water and purple Haze.
He can’t play
He sucks
Always loved "Stranglehold" by Nugent.
🤣🤣
A long way behind Whole Lotta Love and Kashmir etc though.
Paul Rodgers is amazing.
My uncle just passed yesterday.. n Ted Nugent was his all time favorite. So many good memories of him n my mom n dad gettin it in in the 70's lol..
rest in peace wish you nothing but love in your life
Rock on Unk...
Star Lord better be blastin' this in the Milano in Vol. 3
Agreed. Vol. 3 can benefit from some hard rock.
I was fortunate to have grown up on ted’s incredible guitar.
Great memories!
When did you get off of it
I remember owning this on Cassette tape as a little kid and just being in awe with it, and always trying to learn to play it on guitar and thinking he was a god of some sort
Haaa, me too!
Love Ted. He's a classic
How do I put this politely? There was a stage in my life where I used to ski and I put the snow on the case of this CD while this song was blaring and I went down the slopes…
Fuck yes 😂😂🎉
G'day Ted, Bought the album late 1977. Still have it and it sounds as good now as it did then.
When this was played would go crazy at the skating rink back then showing off to all the girls speed skating etc. Going down the rink and taking wide turns. Lots of fun back then!
Hello
My son is currently in the hospital with cat scratch disease and all I could think is play him this song 😅
Will never forget listening to this on my dad’s speakers when I was 4 years old, it’s been my favorite song ever since
This was Australia's hit for Ted.
💓just for the album cover alone.
God damn the 70s had the best rock
Say what you will about his political stance or his personal life. Whether you agreee with him or not, nobody can deny that he's a REALLY GOOD musician.
I agree !!
I deny it
Agreed. I and he could not be more politically opposite (well, okay we could I don't actually want to take away his guns) but I can't deny his music is good.
Yeah exactly! I have friends who are conservative and they enjoy green day for the same reason I enjoy ted. Cause even though I don’t agree with ted politically, he’s still a damn good musician.
He just straight-up blessed and realizes it unlike some they got the gift that's the difference
Born and raised on TED...MET HIM AT A WILD ASS KEGGER AS A TEEN..SAVED MY LIFE...ROCK ON UNCLE TED
his reputation aside, you can’t deny his musical contributions
You can’t deny his reputation either
Ted Nugent 2028 after Trump finishes out his 2nd term of course
His reputation is just as good
What reputation?
@@jimjam2024 idk if you are being sarcastic, but he is a strong supporter of the “right” side in politics. He is very outlandish as well. Also he is generally insane, always has been
They sure do Come! 2020 and beyond! Ted still rocks it!
Crank it up in here
I've had a blast
It's been my pleasure
⚔️💚💚⚔️💖💖⚔️💙💙⚔️
I went to see Ted Nugent last Sunday, and the unforgettable memory I have of this event was some drunk old guy incoherently shouting "Teeeeed! Teeeeeeeed!" Now my grandparents and I constantly make jokes about it. Bless that man
Got to meet him at the boat sport and travel show in Omaha, would love love love to got sit in a blind or drop some roosters with Uncle Ted! 🇺🇸💪🏻🦅
God loves music. Amen
and so do I.
David James West, a Christian man
Absolutely Brothers ! Uncle Ted Play it again Brother. We love it .
This is a song to get those feel good sensations.
🤣🤣🤣
@@KittyGrizGrizLol he's just talking about the music, like we get that you hate Ted Nugent for political reasons but are you really gonna take it out on everyone who simply enjoys the song without politics? You're just acting like a little kid.
NOBODY ROCKS HARDER THAN THE MOTOR CITY MADMAN.
AGREED
He quit playing. He's 95% deaf. I saw where he was having an auction of all his equipment.
Can't say we didn't try . Thank you . I am so humbled. Rock on.
I love your music so much!! I loved it since 2001!! YOU ROCK UNCLE TED!!
Daughter got Ted to sign his book for me....said, "Oh...pretty little lady!" Couldn't be orouder!
He said that to you
Didn't realize assholes had fingers to type....
My sister and I bought Elton John's "Yellow Brick Road". We would play low by the easy bake oven and listen. Kid phonograph was good enough. Miss those times.
Love this song 🎶
This was my grandpa’s favorite before he passed ❤🕊
Straight rock and roll from the gut!
I was very fortunate to see Ted Nugent live in concert in the 80s IT WAS BADASS!!!!!
Do you know Gene?
@@steveeoff383 My uncle, why?
Or from somewhere lower considering what the song's about
Too bad so many of his fans have big guts now🤣
