    We're big fans of Shokugeki no Souma / Food Wars! and in this video we attempted to make the Three Layered Lemon Semifreddo by Takumi Aldini.

    omg I just die inside (jk)
    little tip instead of mixing like you did at 1:55 gently fold the mixture this will keep it light and fluffy and stop it from going lumpy

    Just one tip: If your voice isn't loud enought dont put music. Its almost imposible to hear something

    I gotta say, Subaru should be disqualified because he sneaked into Takumi's room and copied his dessert. I feel like copying someone's dish in a Food War's illegal.

      i don't think it work like this in anime , if he does the same dessert but better than u he is right to win and u should acknowledge his powerfull copying skill and slowly back away when he start putting his arm up into the air like the beast he is
      but he losses so i guess not hapenning : classic anime cliche, the good guys win and we got taught a moral

    something i noticed was that you recreated a mimasaka's recipe, but in the end you added a fourth layer. In the anime, Aldini makes a four layer Semifredo with lemon curd as the fourth layer and the last picture(I believe) was a picture of Aldini's dish.

    Everything looks good. Remember when you've whisked eggs fluffy try to fold things into them and not mixing so you keep the airy fluffy goodness fluffy. Next try to not overheat your caramel, I could see traces of small bits of burnt sugar, not what you want, lower the heat and that problem will be gone :) also try to even out the crumble/bottom more so you don't get those rounded edges and get smooth 90 degrees corners, it will make it look even better. Great video anyways! Keep it going!

    I'm so glad I have subscribed to your channel! I think the biscuit layer on the bottom with that lemon curd layer would be the best for this recipe.

    So... I tried doing that. Everything is good, but the recipe for cake is kinda... Ummm, it didn't go well.

    This looks really good! A suggestion would be to use a song without lyrics, as your voice became hard to hear at times. Except for that, everything is great! Keep up he good work :)

      KileZmaj I made this beef bourguinon and I swear I was dying because it was extremely delicious. I recommend to use a very good red wine though

      I can't get limoncello either, so for that I'll just be mixing some lemon juice with water and sugar for the (sort of) same sweet yet acid effect. (In theory. Lol.)
      This shall be interesting. Haha.

    I did it once it was delicous but i got a question..im a bit concerned becaude of the raw eggs...is it kinda dangerous?

      I used to eat raw eggs all the time. Not once did I get salmonella. Cookie dough too. I guess you could used pasteurized egg whites and yolks but that seems boring.

      It tasted really good. Thought it was going to be super sweet, but it was just right. I personally don't like and eat too many sweets so take that as you will. The only layer that might be too sweet for my taste buds was the top layer. - Crismo

      It might have been the lemon curd layer that prevented it being too sweet. This looks delicious. I would have to try it some day.

    okay there are some rules for recipes.
    ALWAYS tell us how long it takes to make it! write ALL the ingredients in one batch and if there are any special apparatures needed, write them down too!
    you know why? you can't remember the whole video, you browse it while you're cooking. so i'm making the recipe... want to eat it today... and suddenly notice: oh, overnight... fridge... yeah...
    and if you want to write a list with ingredients it's very annoying to browse through the whole video every time. and of course you don't want to be surprised by some special apparatures, which does not happen in your video but remember it for the future.

    Not trying to be rude, but this video is all kinds of fail.
    -Your video title says you're making Takumi's dish, but video is about Mimasuka.
    -You mix up the dishes by using almond flour (Mimasuka) with the lemon curd layer (Aldini).
    -You left out key ingredients (probably due to the mixup), specifically Mimasuka's preserved lemons, which would change who the dish turned out.

    please buy some bowls. you are using some really stupidly shaped bowls to cook with. Also, you don't have to use the smallest container you find. anyway. It's a cool recipe, but it is done with so little care that it's painful to watch. An advice, make your cake and praline wider. (for the praline, use a rolling pin to flatten it) then, cut appropriate pieces based on the size of the semi fredo mold, which could be small individual molds.

      The salmonella it's a bacteria easy to deal with because it can't resist thing like salt, sunligtht, cold, heat and others.
