Thank you for posting this video. I just had left knee arthroscopy they removed 60% of my meniscus and some of the cartilage. My doctor told me to start walking right away. She did forget to mention that I have to start with crutches. Three days after my surgery my knee started hurting and swollen, because I was bearing my weight on my knee. Watching your video it really helped to know the proper way to walk with crutches and avoid injury. Thank you.
How do you correct this if you have been doing this for years. I try and walk normal but I feel like I have to keep my hips stiff in order to do that. I feel like my walk is completely off and I have dealt with hip flexor tightness on the opposite side, SI issues, now my left knee is not tracking properly. My whole left side has been affected due to this. I am going to PT again but I don’t feel like I can walk normal again because of my surgery. I feel like doing the whole heal strike on my right side feels abnormal. I wish this would have been a focus at PT and they told me not to limp when I walk. Now it is such a pain trying to figure out how to walk correctly again. So frustrating dealing with this. 😭
If your old and have no upper body strength yup it’s hard I regret getting my knee done it’s a slow recovery.. but I assume in due time I’ll heal .. but it hurts like a mofo y’all real life shit 🤦🏻♀️
