Can I just say you are amazing! I listen to you most nights of the week to calm my mind before sleep! Thank you!! I am sending my subscribers your way Ayla!
Oh wow! Thank you so so much, that is unbelievably kind of you. I am very grateful 🙏 It brings me joy to know this is helping you with your wind down routine. 🖤✨
Every time, your voice is like a soft breeze that carries me away. So grateful for finding this practice. Coming back every single day. Blessings and blessed I am for been here 🙏
Thank you, really rejuvenating. Wednesday is my fav day of the week cuz you releases new Nidras. Your sessions resonate with me and I find them so benifical. You are appreciated and the work you are sharing 🌻💜
Hello Ayla! I'm listening to this a second time. Still great starting my day with your yoga nidra. I am curious about the intention behind your blessing "the darkness me honors the darkness in all of you." What is the Darkness you are referring to?
The shadow self. We are all often brought to these practices to accept circumstance, and ourselves, to bring more light in our world. In yoga nidra, we sit with the discomfort, the deep, and sometimes painful, emotions. When we see that we have both darkeness and lightness we are able to discover neutrality, acceptance and compassion in walking the middle path! By seeing the darkness in others we acknowledge that we all have our struggles and to me that fosters a more beautiful and compassionate world. 🖤✨ thanks for asking✨🤍
Practiced this yesterday. Much needed. Perfect length for yesterday. (I usually need the longer medtations. So as always, Ayla, you give us the perfect practice for the moment of need.) Thank you!
Yoga nidra brings you to a brain wave state that is between sleep and wakefulness. However, some people use it as a way to fall asleep. I use NSDR(Non Sleep Deep Rest) as a descriptor to encourage everyone to remain more present and utilize the practice with and intention to connect with a deeper state of awareness. However, NSDR can also be known as Non Symbolic Deep Rest. In that case, there would be no visualizations or imagery involved. Only thorough guidance of connecting deeply with breath and body. Such a great video idea Anna. Thank you for asking. 🖤✨
Great, I was wondering the same thing and even though I’ve been trained in yoga Nidra myself, as I practitioner, I prefer the body relaxation and breath part.

Ayla, great job as always. Q to U: what is a difference between NSDR and Yoga Nidra?
