I am always in awe of this concerto. The cadenza leading to the crashing entry of the orchestra always send shivers up my spine. So difficult to perform. Congratulations to all.
For me, the interpretation of Vladimir Krainev is the best among what I heard. I listened to this concert performed by Yakov Zak, Nikolai Demidenko, Yuja Wang, Nikolai Petrov - they are all wonderful musicians and great virtuosos, but Krainev is simply unsurpassed in this concert.

One of the best recordings I've heard, though Rösel is still by far my favourite.

very nice and clean performance, even though for me Gutierrez is yet to be surpassed
