Since I got the best bow for Hunter, it became my most favourite class. I run a fire build with the exploding arrow and and hunters charm, it regenerates every 20-30 seconds so it's basically a second ultimate. Even without being really good with headshots, I get most kills on gold survival. Awesome class, highly recommend it
@AngNguynz good randoms?! Damn that’s insane the ones i get matched with just leave or go off on their own get 0 kills and die. I play with my friends tho that way it’s much easier to communicate

I got this bow today and my hunter went to a whole new level. I joined a gold run survival on wave 9 and hit over 300 kills by the end. The first time you head shot with a fire arrow it’s like having another aoe skill on tap, just brilliant.
Hunters are underrated, my last char I got to rank 20 with. Mad aoe clear and on my story nightmare runs with all the characters had the most success with hunters if we play safe
i play a build focused around fire dmg using cool down reduction, fire up tools and spamming the explosive arrow. just finished a gold survival with 331 kills =) not using a legendary since i dont have your bow, but that bow would boost the build even further thanks to aoe fire arrows then
I went with a full fire boost set up , you need hunter ability radius on the hunter charm, fire boost and fire master , combine that with her technique skills to demolish any wave 1 explode arrow delets all but bruts , it does up to 90% to them though , add sticky bomb with blast radius and dmg boost to take out the oni and brutes easy
Have you tried using a sword with Water and Stone? The water really helps with the shield brutes as it negates their defense completely. The shield provides a massive area of protection, so it's hard to get around that.
What are some tips to get the skipping stone bow, I've been doing story on the first mission on gold. I got 2 other legendarys from doing this but not the bow

Yassss I actually have a similar build on my hunter which made me happy. I use the gords though instead of the caltrops because when I get shot from my high spot and I light on fire, it’s hard to roll and the gord saves my ass a lot. For my sword I like using poison and then back rolling and shooting them. The poison seems to stop them from hitting you and killing you it and when someone gets too close. Also, I did focus on the body shots and piercing shields, but I like what you said about just suck it up and aim for their heads and legs. So I might change it up. Hm. I really need the legendary bow though.
Tbh I might see if I’ve got a water sword with the poison perk, because that sounds like a great idea! Personally I’m running a build that has water katana with wind stance, because I hardly ever use melee, and when I do, I like to have the wind stance because the spear-enemies can be pesky. Plus, it helps because on some maps you can’t always get to a high enough perch that enemies can’t jump on. Whenever they come up and try to gank me, I quickly break their guard with the water stance, and then use the wind stance kick to send them flying off!
@@ZaddyGohan Right now I have the moon with burning blade, melee damage (6%) and counter (11%) and it is epicccc. Coupled with fire arrows and the caltrops I’m burning it up!
The status effect duration on your ghost weapons affects all of your fire damage. Even explosive shot and fire arrows. You can even get a doubled status effect duration roll and just watch stuff burn forever
While I was farming this boy it took 2 days. Throughout the days ive gotten every legendary, 5 master katanas and 8 legendary half bows. I was on the verge of giving up my grinding until it finally dropped
I ran Ranged Damage / Headshot damage on the Stone Skipper and ended up actually getting RID of Ranged Damage for Draw Speed. The longbows are slow to a fault, so having Draw Speed on both your weapon and charm are going to help tremendously for getting shots out faster.
Question... does Pinpoint perk + skipping stone bow ignore helmets or something when u land a body shot? because you've chosen to go with Headshot refund rather than helmet piercing, so I'm curious whether it actually ignores helmets when you proc the Pinpoint perk
I play hunter aggressively with the increased dmg within 12 meters technique. With smoke bomb and throw dirt(rancid) they give me plenty of time to draw the long bow and get head shots.
Stagger arrows aka stun arrows immobilize enemies which can help you pick teammates up if a ronin is down or you don't have a ronin in your team. Explosive aka fire arrows is nice but burning enemies does not immobilize them.
I didn’t got my skipping stone until lvl 52! Shortly after I got two more. Now Iam using the utility charm with 20% ultimate damage and 9,7% Oni damage with fire master. On my bow i have headshot and range damage with helmet piercing ammo. Need to max out the rest now.
Lean into the fire! It's soooooo good with fire master and fire damage on your charm. I'd even go for a cool down reduction or resolve stats for endgame grinding. Caltrops are not to be overlooked. Charge an oni and drop it right on him, bait a group of enemies with it, and even protect hostages on higher difficulties. It's really versatile. I've been using the kunai because of cooldowns but I'll definitely keep trying to get a good sticky bomb to replace it. Fire fire fire!!!
Do this now. Get rubber bands and have one that pulls down the thumbstick that moves your character. Have another one wraped around your controller that is over square and make sure it actually pushes it down. Go do something for an hour or two and bang atleast 10-20 legendaries. I got my bow doing this its incredible.
My Hunter rules the lands of Tsushima. She's level 50+. The only problem is that I still don't have the Stone Skipping bow... I must have triplicates of EVERY other legendary in the game but for the life of me, I've been unable to get that damn bow... I've been using Weightless spirit for now which helps get headshots practically from across the map. I am just worried about draw speed with stone skipping. But I agree with many others here, the hunter is just a stunning class and I get the highest kills when using it. I use the same build as yours, except I go for smoke instead of caltrops. I play mainly nightmare so can't beat a few seconds of invisibility to revive teammates when you're paired with useless ronins...
I'm mostly just trying to decide on the rolls that I want for slots 1 and 2 on the hunter charm and the Bow itself (E.g. 10% bonus headshot damage). I feel like it could really benefit from increased draw/reload speed, but I wonder if thats worth sacrificing the extra damage

I was 1 kill away from the challenge, he saw me aiming, then ran past me and robbed the kill, causing us to fail the challenge. He then proceeded to yell at everyone, despite me being the only hunter or even person that tried to do the challenge in a lobby full of samurai, then ragequit on wave 20. Then the rest quit. Alot of people quit when they lose a teammate, it is stupid because if you go to social you can matchmake a New person Into the lobby.. either way why so shy of doing a challenge? I did gold with 3 people back when I didnt know about matchmaking mid-game.
I don't use the perk that let's me get arrows back. I use the helmet piercer. 80% of the enemies have helmets that completely screw up your ability to kill. I don't see why it's better to only shoot bodies
You have a 50% chance to make body shots into headshots, if they have a helmet then aim for the body. In nightmare ammo is a problem, so refund is very good!
I prefer the bow that takes away drop off from your arrows parked with the perk that makes 50% to do headshot damage. That with the aim assist makes you so damn deadly.
[Rank 150 hunter gear 110] this a good early game build but it doesn't work with everyone and pinpoint is great when paired with skipping stone but having a Kenji gourd with strong brew so a extra legendary item helps a lot
I've used a ton of resources to increase the draw speed, is it worth reforging to get ranged damage and headshot damage? I don't have the skipping stone bow yet btw
It really doesn’t, I used this video as a rough guide, i don’t have this bow but do have the other Legendary Bow with no drop in arrow flight and before hitting level 10 was getting about 200 kills on survival gold. Sure having Skipping Stone will be better but the build in general feels like it’s got heaps of potential. Use those perks, roll for fire-damage multipliers on your gear, murder.
Do not roll ranged damage it's not worth it for nightmare survival. You will be up close to enemies more times than far away. You HAVE to hold those points and if you want to do the achievement of not losing a single defence point you WILL he soloing a point until your team shows up. Range damage won't help you. You'll want draw speed 40% (x2 trait). If you can't even shoot an arrow before getting hit by melee or salvo of arrows (which happens all the time each wave) then where is your dps? His build only works for gold and under NOT nightmare.
Exactly I’m a hunter main and I would definitely not run this for nightmare, it’s almost impossible to shoot an arrow, you’re 95% of the time up close and have to stay close to hold the objectives like you said
Spamming AoE Fire = full assassin nerf. Gl for any assassins running with you being able to capitalize on assassinations. Not to mention, in nightmare mode status effects are void. A concussed enemy is immobile and easy to hit and can still be assassinated.
you should fund the gear you want for your class get them all up to 110 then start working on the “godrolls” trust. this is the best and most efficient way to maxing out your legends
I just hope the devs wont start nerfing stuff left and right. The game is so fun rn.
Yeah I don’t see a point in nerfing things if there is no PVP implementation in the game. It’s just fighting cpu
I would be surprised if they do that being that ps5 is around the corner.
I dont think these devs are gonna be like that. I mean, look how they've treated us so far. They're making me feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman

This is almost identical to what I was going for. Great job
No resolve buffs on you any of your items? That’s a mistake
All I seem to get are legendary charms sadly.... Like can I get one sword or bow please....jesus
Wow that’s exactly my build lol
Level 47 still haven’t gotten the skipping stone bow 😭😂
An u want a water katana not not stone water breaks all def
Anyone have a video without the bow
dont re roll slots 1 and 2. its not worth it unless your gear is 110. each perk reroll cost 50 honor. when one lvl upgrade cost 100 honor.
you should fund the gear you want for your class get them all up to 110 then start working on the “godrolls” trust. this is the best and most efficient way to maxing out your legends
Explosive arrow isnt worth it on nightmare. Staggering arrow is better
Exactly,
Yr got my bow today after 2 day farm
Playing with hunter and still gets swords and accessors as legendary 😒
This whole build is catered around your legendary bow
Ofc it is, he plays as hunter and the bow is a hunters main weapon
I NEED THAT BOW!!!
Nightmare survival, I get owned by the onis!
Sadly immunity modifer can completely break this build :(
gave up, the bow never drops got the shitty one 3 times. hate RNG
Same, I got the half bow 4 times
Just got the bow fam
@@jaydenmoore8180 good shit man!
Hunter op
God hunter is so busted. I beat nightmare story solo with a hunter.
