- One of my personal favorite LPS corals of all time ! In this video we cover care requirements for keeping the very popular acan lordhowensis. These are easy to keep lps corals are great for any size reef aquarium.

These are arguably my favourite corals as well! I love those rainbow acan corals; I feel like I always have to be around them. Yes I am addicted to them!
Macro Algae for the display tank
(My personal experience with Gracilaria Hayi and G.curtissae has been very rewarding, G.Hyi starts to brightly fluoresce a nice burnt orange with enough light, and G.Curtissae is great to fill in gaps or holes in your aquascape with color. They also add nutrient export as well as adding some motion to the tank, so if someone has a nano tank but doesn't want to add anemones or torches due to price or their sting, having a couple pieces of Gracilaria or the bigger single stem macros like mermaids fan or shaving brush is an option, and they are not nearly as sensitive to water parameters as coral are. And for bigger tanks, adding in caulerpa species like C.prolifera can add more motion to the tank while allowing for another home for your 'pod population to stay strong and feed picky eaters like dragonettes and some gobies)
Since alot of us buy frags i would like to see growth patterns and placement. I have some favias and not sure where to place them. Keep up the great work.

Love the videos! I’d like to see a video on invertebrates. Specifically the ones that wouldn’t be thought of as cleanup but more ornamental types that could be used as a focal for a smaller reef

I haven't had any acans since 2012. Got divorced and had to move my 65 Gallon. Not the easiest LPS , but one of the prettiest for sure. I want a Frag 😁

How about a video of How to create the best flow without dead spots. I am local and would love those ultra/rainbow acans in my reef tank! Either way keep making awesome videos and happy reefing!

Do a video on common refer mistakes and preventative things you can do for your reef tank. Like what to look for in buying a tank or equipement or common mistakes in maintenance or pro tips.
How about videos of local reefers tanks, where you go and video their tank and interview them about it.

I'd like to see a video focusing on coral names... basically like you've done here showing the different acan species, but expanding out to different categories... one on LPS, (then sps, etc.) Focusing on naming subspecies..
1. do a video of an order coming threw u picking it out,boxing it up and then shipping it out
2. paly toxins from zoas/palys as its a big talk right now in the reefing community with the guy who died in Texas
3. cal,mag,alk dosing how to check,how often,and how much to use, also with programming a doser
The cold water tip to help the food sink is pro level stuff
More pro tips for happy corals. maybe go over paramaters, how often you feed your tanks.. ect. (frozen to sync the powder food was a goodone)

Dude, Excellent vide. 👍. I have been under feeding for years. I just drop a few pellets in a few mouths. I will try your method and assume the growth will be faster. 👍

Hey March and fragbox friends, it would be great to see a video on PAR in the tank with different lights. Especially the stock light for the fluval evo (found one par map online), then the AI prime and maybe a third light and what regions some LPS and SPS might grow in. I found with acans everyone recommends low light or on the sand bed, but for the fluval evo this is too low a light level? In Dillon's tank you can see they are definitely getting higher light levels. Placement for flow would be another great video (find the descriptions in videos always so vague? It would be nice to have plastic streamers setup like a wind vain to capture the true flow and turbulence around some corals. Cheers
How about a video on clownfish care? Fragbox sells many varieties of clowns and they are the most common fish in the hobby, an informative video on their care would be very helpful for new and experienced reefers alike!
A video of the fragbox staffs favourite coral species at the store along with care requirements (a “fragbox staff favourites” frag pack would be cool too!)
Great and educating videos !! You should do a video on why new comers should try reefing and why reefers should not give up the hobby when their tanks not doing the greatest!

How about a Video featuring ICP testing, how it works, which one you sell( good for Canadian customers), the online analysis tools, and using it as a tool to figure out why certain corals in our tanks don't do well but others do.

How about these topics mostly geared towards beginners:
1. How to mix saltwater
2. Do I need all the fancy equipment to be successful in the hobby?
3. Heating and cooling, how to maintain water temperature.
You could do a video on nps corals. And talk about why you got into the business as a lfs

Do a full shop tour, equipment and behind the scenes
Set up a mini soft complete tank with just a few polyps and let us watch the growth. And then start it over with another soft coral. I bet it fills up hella fast

obviously do a bachelor episode for my man DIgz! it would be interesting if you did a bizarre pest video since you mentioned that some corals are straight out of the ocean? any weird ones? I bought a hammer coral once and found hydroids in the live rock that actually ripped apart the hammer coral within in two days. could do a horror series with fans about how a pest destroyed their systems.
i just picked some up thinking they were small candy cane corals , hoping it survives because my tank mostly has softies and LPS

Can you guys shoot a video about how to maintain alkalinilty stable and increase and decrease if the tank needs it.
Video idea = reef gardens like euphyllia garden, torch garden, acans garden. I personally find that zoas don't seem to hurt my acans.

I brought 7 head Acan 24 hours ago the middle ok but the fluffy outside not coming out. How long does it take for them to adjust to my tank. Great video. Please help kind regards

You should experiment with a tank and see how long you can maintain the tank with no dosing, and high nutrients then make a recovery video!
