From what I remember, BOTW was showcased for Switch 2, but only to show native 4k resolution. Unless Nintendo adds new content, or makes it a pack with the DLC and TOTK, I don't see a reason to release it other than an update for the current game

Trying to sell something extremely recent with a slight upgrade at a higher price has shown to have extreme backlash (Ahem PS5 Pro). And considering that for a player that already owns a breath of the wild copy that can be played on the switch 2 naturally just wouldn’t pay for it in the first place. They hate doing stuff against their own philosophies, and they hate doing stuff with no value. That's why their games are amazing. It's extremely important to differentiate the business department of Nintendo and the creative department, as I'm sure you know.

And also changing an entire company’s philosophy is not anything easy, For example how hard do you think it is for a Budget Airline to change to a full service airline, the same goes for every company including Nintendo of Course. Granted, hate to Nintendo is sort of warranted when you remember that they just love shooting down nonprofit fan projects (I get it protects their IPs, and they are technically in their right to do it, but y'know). However, Nintendo's management is undeniable. I hear lots of stuff like "This is the worst era of gaming" because big studios are closing, there's absolutely terrible management, millions of dollars are used on games only to be complete flops (Sony, Xbox, and other companies I believe). But Nintendo? Nope, they are in one of their best eras ever. Us Nintendo are just having the time of our lives! So yeah, Nintendo should improve its annoying treatment of fans and its greedy tactics with remakes, but otherwise, they are absolutely golden. One of the best possible scenarios a company could be in.
I think the only reason why wind waker and twilight princess won't get a remake for the switch is maybe the switch 2 is around the corner or Nintendo don't want to bring back them back at all.

Maybe the new hardware will allow them to reimplement the scrapped WiiU tablet inventory management system. Maybe this will be the definitive way to play large inventory titles e.g. BotW, TotK, and EoW.
It's not even 8 years old, totally ridiculous. They have so many better options to remaster and get to a modern point graphically then by the time they did that it would make sense to remaster BotW.
