    Most passengers will complain about delays and cancelled flights without realizing what goes into getting the planes safely in the air and back on the ground again in a bad storm. It's not all sunshine and 80 degree weather when it comes to air travel.

      Thank you, it was filmed in 2000...most of the snow removal trucks you see in the video are from Finland (Vammas) Switzerland (Boushung) and the US, (Oshkosh) P Series....all heavy duty high speed eq....Osh Kosh also owns and manufactures the Peirce Fire Truck and the "Striker" the high tech airport fire suppression unit....

      Mr1234doyle first of all what your saying is complete GARBAGE! VAMMAS was created by two engendering companies.
      Fortbrand from US and DOBROWOLSKI from POLAND . They have been making and designing special purpose vehicles for 60 years now. This video was shot earlier then 2000.
      I have no idea why you are commenting on this video EVERYTHING you have said is complete BULL SHIT and LIES. Best to keep your DELUSIONAL BULL SHIT lies to yourself you DELUSIONAL MORON!

      @@kodyadams5589 Kody, hope all is well. Don't want to get into an argument here, but I have been working with the Vammas/Fortbrand folks since 1999. We visited the factory in Finland in 1999 and just got back from their new factory in Ottumwa Iowa. It is an amazing truck, great design, well built, all around, and most of our drivers like it. Take care, and thanks for your comments.

    Goofball at 03:39 doesn't even have his blade properly lowered. That said, blades are tarmac's enemy. I've seen some airports that prefer power brushes where at all possible. Problem is... when you let more than an inch or two settle, it's too late for the brushes and you need blowers or blades.

    • @Mr1234doyle
      @Mr1234doyle  5 років тому +1

      Thanks Mr Goofball, you are spot on...yes, the second truck had the blade up.....we did not see this in the edit or on the shoot....show biz i guess....you are/must be a pro...no one else made a comment...98 thousand hits!...U DA MAN!

    • @tadourm
      @tadourm 5 років тому +3

      They don't have their blades down cause they are on rollers to not destroy the tarmac. If you look closely all 3 trucks there do not have their blades down. I believe whatever is further back on the truck cleans it closer
