In the second part of his Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview with Content Head Broadband Faridoon Shahryar, Naseeruddin Shah in Goa explains why he didn't enjoy working with Aamir Khan but praises the star for backing some unconventional and out-of-the-box films. He emphasizes why one should remain fit despite growing years, joy of working with Madhuri Dixit in 'Dedh Ishqiya' and why he feels that Hyderabadi culture is superior than Awadhi culture. I think Naseer spoke the truth about Aamirs relatively unknown or talked about ability to promote & market film as well as be savvy in his film making decisions, and coming from lucknow i completely agree Hyderabad has much more fine muslim culture at present. I completely agree aamirs acting skills are ofcourse in no league to other fine art house actors like Naseeruddin saabs, Irfan khan, KK memon, Boman irani, Manoj Bajpaye or newcomers lyk nawazzudin siddiqui. But considering the fact that aamir is still essentially a commercial actor he has still delievered some fantastic performances (especially if we compare it to other khans and his peers i.e. the dog in Ra1 and dinka chinka idiot who has to always take his shirt off, or akshay kumar). The fact that he has supported and acted in some monumental fantastic innovative films which the rest of bollywood closed their doors to, even if his acting wasnt oscar winning without the support from Aamir, the state of commercial Indian cinema would be abysmal. The fact remains acting quality ability wise he is by far the best within his A-lister male commercial peers, and does justice to his role. And also that without aamirs support this new wave of realistic commercial cinema would not have occured. He has changed the game foreva and for the betta and for that the whole India due to his fearlessness to as naseeruddin said, puts his money where his mouth it and that takes guts and is where Aamirs greatness lies

sanamo86 It's impossible to compare Aamir Khan's work with other mentioned actors...imagine other actors doing Aamir's legendary roles and you'll realise how easily he delivers each time since last 30 years without showing the world that he is a powerhouse of acting & discipline.

Sudharsan Ravikumar to be honest he is right, amir is my fav actor but back in days he used to suck.He has improved like sarfarosh which is amir's one of the best movie but I just recently watched it again but you find flaws of amir exposed in front of nasirudeen
i think because he is not diplomatic and tries to be very honest with his opinion which many people assumes it to be arrogance. Again this is just my opinion.

Avadhi अवधि culture a myth??? Naseer अवधि is the foundation of Urdu. Urdu is just a persian based script. Also converted Jamindar Muslim Nawab of Avadhi continued the cultural heritage which reflects on Lucknow and Hyderabad cultured Muslim. Wake up and see things when you landed in Bombay/Mumbai looks for work in films. Typical to show arrogance with bit of popularity.

srk is the best khan no doubt about that in terms of acting and dancing and aamir is good in choosing films but when it comes to acting dance charming srk is miles ahead from aamir

Outside of the genre "romance", SRK does very so-so films. After MNIK, I haven't seen much work worth any applaud. His acting is all about Kakkakkka..keeran... and his own good-for-nothing style. As a businessman I do respect him but as an "ALL ROUND" actor...lol He is no where near Irrfan Khan, forget Aamir. Don't mix dancing with acting. When you act in a play at a theater, there isn't much dancing. Much less with the effects. SRK is all about marketing. Unlike Aamir's, none of his movies have made 10 times the money.
