The Long Dark: Stalker | Mr. Moose!

Welcome back to The Long Dark!
A new Stalker series is here, as Tessa embarks on a journey throughout the cold world of The Long Dark in order to survive. This series also includes the DLC Tales from the Far Territory. This let's play starts off in Desolation Point as Tessa prepares to embark on a journey to survive and thrive in the silent apocalypse. She'll need to watch out for wolves, the cold, and other survival-related issues throughout her journey in The Long Dark.
In this special episode, Lonelywolf finally hunts the moose! Mr. Moose has been playing coy and hard to get, but he finally arrived. Sadly you can't hear the game audio because OBS bricked, but I heard Mr. Moose do his grunt and I got very excited. It's a grunty time!

I wish it was possible to craft a knife or a whittled collectible keepsake or something out of the moose antlers.
Missing the olden days when it was still possible to goat climb on top of the beds and work bench in the Hut and huddle away in Timberwolf blizzards just crafting stuff on top of the desk.
I have mixed feelings about the new carcass harvesting animation. Makes sense for the hide maybe, but it replays for every batch of meat? It's so... vertigo-ey 😄 I never thought I would feel nostalgic for that little loading hourglass symbol, but I kinda do.

I absolutely love that spot, best moose hunt in the game by a mile lol! I got one up there with a pistol in about 4 seconds, I still use the clip in my end credits 🤣

Ass and snooter shots have the best chance for a one-shot crit on the Moose, lol. And for some reason it seems to happen more with the butt shots. 😆
