In the original book 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' written in 1900 by L. Frank Baum, the shoes are also silver. The shoes are made Ruby Red for the movie 'The Wizard of Oz' to show off the new Technicolor Technology. The Exact Shade of Green that Margaret Hamilton is painted in the 1939 movie and the Ruby Slippers are under copyright by Warner Bros.

In the Wicked Broadway, Nessa Rose father gave her silver slippers in the first act but they turn red slippers in the second act when Elphaba helps her sister Nessa Rose walk with her powers before she dies from a house landing on her from a tornado that Madam Morrible made with her weather powers.
You know looking at glinda seeing how she has blonde hair and wears a pink dress she kind of reminds me of princess aurora from the Disney movie sleeping beauty

I went to Walmart today and they already have the display, a lot of people think that men can’t like these things but I’m mainly in for it because of Ariana grande, she hot 😜😏
