It’s hard to say much about the creating process, except that it generated great anticipation AND I couldn’t get the image of Sir Elton John singing Pinball Wizard out of my mind while you deftly rolled the marble around. I do have to admit that the wrecked black and “white” painting was beautiful. The finished painting was more than I could have anticipated, though (I don’t have any experience with iridescent paints). It dried much darker than I thought, but that made it perfect. There is motion in your paintings… in this one bits of luxuriously rich color pop up all over, but it’s not a blob. It flows with the rest of the colors. This is one of my favorites. While you were rolling the marble, the lines you created made me think of life. We move forward. For instance, the gold line in the middle - we could consider that our career trajectory. The line starts out narrow when we are novices and grows wider as we gain experience and finally tapers off as we consider retiring. Some lines are bumpy - we’ve all had difficult times. Some lines branch off and that’s where we make course corrections in our lives (like this artist that I follow on UA-cam). And when you look at it all at once, you can see the infinite number or ways your life could go. Now that’s all fine and good, but no one goes through life alone. The colors are the richness we perceive in other people and how they impact our perception of the path. There are so many shades intermixed throughout just as there are different types of people. The surprise is in the iridescence. I may think of someone in a certain way at any point in time. But if I move down the path, then turn around to look at them again, I’ll see something different. Not only does this painting show me that life is a beautiful interconnection of paths, but also reminds me that people are also multifaceted and cannot be defined by what we see at a single place and time.
Yay, the marble 💕 Wow, this is one super beautiful piece. I love the colour palette and the design with so many lines and it's always fun to watch you move the marble over the canvas. Another great job, Mark 🖒💖
This is way cooler than pearls! Brings back childhood memories of going to boat and car shows in the late 60's and 70's when those fantastical vehicles shimmered like glitter in 3D as if they had been placed there out of a dream! I used to think those painters (artists) must have been trippin to come up with ideas like that! I'm trippin on this one! One of my favorites of all the acrylic artists I've ever watched-TANX
Good evening, Mark Love the colors and just how everything looks beautiful. The shimmer, the lines. It's just a very beautiful. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful painting. Have a great day Mark
Absolutely Beautiful !! I LOVE These paints . So Amazing ! It turned out So Cool. The Marble Master Is At It Again. What An Awesome Piece. Can't Wait To See Whats Next With These Gorgeous Paints. Great Video Mark.
Ohhhh now I really love the tones within these colours 😊 gorgeous. Make you smile Mark I bought some of these paints around 18 months ago but didn't realise until watching you that this is what you do with them 😜🤣. I just went oohhhh . Thank you 😊
What a beautiful creation. I love the anticipation of seeing what the final result will be and this did not disappoint. It is outstanding. I do find it amazing and fun when you work with these paints. I do hope to see you use them in more videos. Thanks. Denise ❤
Hey Mark, next time can you do a time-lapse on the drying process so we can see it transform? That would be awesome..... I'll wait with anticipation for the notification of the transformation! lol
That is absolutely stunning, Mark! Love, love this piece! The marble gives a totally different effect from swiping through the colors with a sharp pointed stick.
Wow Mark! 🥰 Cette vidéo et cette peinture sont magnifiques. 💚💙💜 Je me souviens de ta série avec le perlescent paint from Amsterdam. The flower that you have done is gorgeous. Moi je vais me coucher bientôt. Un petit video de Mark avant de se coucher ça termine bien la soirée. 😅
I love the colours, beautiful! I have used the Amsterdam pearl paints, I think maybe these colours have a bit more sparkle..or is it just me. What do you think Mark? I have never used this paint, may have to have a try😊💕
Hi Mark, great work with the marble ❤ and very entertaining to see the paint is changing colour. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I wondered how your paints were measured in the mixing process, did you use ml or mg? (I believe the black paint had a thicker consistency and the pearls were thinner originally.) Thanks for the inspiration!!! Greetings from Australia 🌏
I always love the results you get with your marble pour. Do the Decoart paints dry brighter than the Amsterdam pearl? I have found that they can look a bit dull in ordinary light.
So pretty ❤ I have these paints and can’t wait to try and compare to the pearl paints. I also want to see this done using interference Micas from TLP and ColourArte! Will you do one? 😊
Bonjour j adore ce que vous faites j adore félicitations possible de faire avec différentes couleurs vertes amitiés de la France merci pour votre réponse
These are glitter and shimmery. I think the Amsterdam are more vibrant BUT I think these might also work with other color backgrounds too… experimenting all the time 🤩
My bad. They act like Interference paints. I have been using these for a couple of months along with Golden's Interference and the pearlescents from Ampsterdam. I am addicted to the effects.

I think the Decoart interference paints are every bit as beautiful as the Amsterdam pearls. Mark...get Pebeo Iridescent Blue Black. A stunner.😊
Oh yes I love that color by Pebeo and used it before 💙
Wow Mark! 🥰 Cette vidéo et cette peinture sont magnifiques. 💚💙💜

What do you think Mark? I have never used this paint, may have to have a try😊💕
Oh thank you! Yes you’re right as it’s got a shimmer in it like glitter ✨

Thanks so much Suzanne. I do ratios (and many just eye ball these days) but usually mls
I always love the results you get with your marble pour. Do the Decoart paints dry brighter than the Amsterdam pearl? I have found that they can look a bit dull in ordinary light.
I think I’ve found the Amsterdam to be more vibrant especially after varnish x
So pretty ❤ I have these paints and can’t wait to try and compare to the pearl paints. I also want to see this done using interference Micas from TLP and ColourArte! Will you do one? 😊
Thank you so much! Ah unfortunately I don’t used mica powders, sorry x
❤🎉❤
Thank you 🤩
Bonjour j adore ce que vous faites j adore félicitations possible de faire avec différentes couleurs vertes amitiés de la France merci pour votre réponse
Thank you so much. Green is my favorite color 💚
I love this composition! Am I wrong if I say that those DA pearlescent colors seem to have more shimmer in them then Amsterdam pearlescent?
Thank you! Yes you’re correct, they have a glitter shimmer to them
Mark, where did you find these paints? They are beautiful!
I was sent them by a friend but I also found them on Amazon
When you say “parts” does that mean ounces?
Whichever or however you measure. I’m talking about ratios - so 1:1 etc
Did you notice any real difference between these paints and the Amsterdam? It seems these are being poured in a thinner mix?
These are glitter and shimmery. I think the Amsterdam are more vibrant BUT I think these might also work with other color backgrounds too… experimenting all the time 🤩
Why do you call them iridescent instead of interference?
Because that’s what they are called! It’s on the label…
My bad. They act like Interference paints. I have been using these for a couple of months along with Golden's Interference and the pearlescents from Ampsterdam. I am addicted to the effects.
@@francistrick4327they are so much fun 🎉🎉🎉
