Thank you for answering my question David. I appreciate your willingness to answer viewer's questions. I'm a fellow Englishman and I have followed your UA-cam channels on and off for the last few years because I am interested in the Balkans and I have spent a lot of time travelling the region. Someday I would like to visit Banja Luka. In Bosnia and Herzegovina I have visited Sarajevo, Mostar, Blagaj, Trebinje, Višegrad, Konjic. I think the main difference between myself and most of your other viewers is I am not in your target demographic because I am 32.
Hi David, I'm loving your content and easy way you chat about all sorts on your channel. You're a very humble and kind person and we are grateful that you share your life with us and especially all the important info on retiring in Bosnia. I think you actually living there long term definitely gives a much better perspective on the practical issues we want to know about and what to expect rather than from folks who visit on a holiday or short term. Well done and keep up the good work!
Hello Wendy, and thank you so much for those kind words. I hope that you find the content I have published so far interesting. This new channel is just a moth in, so hopefully a long way to go yet. Bests, David
Hi David.. Jens from Denmark here.. thx for your video.. my algorithms let me to here.. i subscribe and see forward to see your content. Im 52 so in range of your segment 😁.. thx for your honesty about your introverte.. im the exact the same way as you describe it for you. Im the worst critics of me.. sad 😏.. but i love to follow you and see what it will bring. Keep up the good work. Your honesty is your best way to make contens. I big European hug from here ❤️
I never associated re-branding (or even branding) in relation to an individual, a person until chatting to someone almost a decade back now. Of course it makes sense, how you present yourself - and keep updating yourself as well as what you like to see & do. btw, you're looking very well for 70, David.
I must admit I find it hard to create my niche on UA-cam so feel forced in my head to create content from my design experience. Though as I have discovered through other creators it seems like once you are past the age of 50 you have the life experience to carve your own niche. This still doesn't help me find my place but my thoughts are that I will keep publishing content until I settle on the type of content I and others love. I hope that makes sense and yes using your own name is the way to go ;)
Hi Shep, for me the "niche" has/was always the conundrum. I think that my perception of what others thought combined with comparing myself to others was something I couldn't come to terms with. Now? Well I've just recently realised I don't give a * attitude. I'm hoping that this rebrand/focus will be successful
I gathered from previous comments that you had been in the armed forces and I am always interested to know about the motivation of those who sign up for the military. I think you are too young to have been required to do National Service so it would have been a case of joining rather than staying in.
I joined the army at the age of 15 in September 1968 as an apprentice tradesman with the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). I served until I was 40, leaving as a Sergeant Major. I joined the reserves in 1995 as a Captain and served another few years until 2001
You could talk about quantum physics. Just like listening to you, and pick up some easy and slow new knolage. «Why im not a quantum physician». 25 minutes. I would put you in, in a weakly scedual. Or more. Keep on.

Mark, I still feel 16 in my head. The body less so.
Hi David what happens to the ‘Buy me a coffee’ channel? Should I change to Patreon subscription
