Grew up going to Club Lucy’s & the venue as a kid, still got the old tapes, stompin, g-force, excel selector C just a few of my favs! Top memories
Colloseum Norton! Legendary
First time I went to the Venue in Spenny in about 1995 and Stompin was just starting his MCing career. He was mint. Amazing that he's still going all these years later. A true MCing legend.
Stompin will never be beaten live on stage, he is something else..... its the mother fucking skitzo 🕺🏻

Loved this. I was at The Colosseum most Saturday nights during my mid to late teens. I idolised the lot of them back then - Stompin, Attack, Techno-T, G-Force, Full Effect, NRG, Selector C and many more. I spent absolute fortunes on tapes 😂

I remember when danny first started to go to the venue, pinching 5 mins on the mic here and there.
Was always chomping at the bit and eager to get on when ever he could.
Then he made the list himself.
And went from strenght to strength
And look now, he still going strong many many years later.
I still listen to him now and im 48.
My 6 year old grandson loves his set with tazo, he says granda i know we cant swear but we can listen to this swearing 😂😂

Am 37 grew up with listening to stompin, ace, tazo, tnt, trance, stretch, techno t, jet, and I absolutely love the fact letrix had a mention from Danny's mouth goes to show that stompin realises letrix is an up and coming goat but stompin and letrix are on the same level, different styles as he said be original be yourself.. nee one can come close to stompin and letrix the old school and the new school 👍
Stompin is the god father of the north east! Our school days with the cassette players will never be topped! 😂

First getting afterdark tapes in the late 90s in scotland was insane. Blew my mind. Consumed and bought everything i could.
Turned 40 now still love to listen tk the old tapes in the car.
Good thing about Danny is 90s or 2024 its still fantastic. Timeless

I used to work in the Venue in Spennymoor can remember Danny's first night he was a official venue mc.went on to dj at the afterdark 2 and was lucky enough to do a set with him 😊.I've got the original sign from above the venue doors 2 of of me mates owned it back in the day.great lad is Danny.

Haha cant believe danny stomping randomly popping up on my feed😎 The Afterdark 2 was my place of rave then the monkey, hangar and all the others all over the north east. Had some mental times and met some mental people. Makes me feel old thinking back to it all but have some good memories.
Stumbled across this channel today and WAS NOT disappointed, Danny Stompin is the man, class to hear some of his stories, needed to be longer to get all the info 💯🎵🎤 is there gunna me any more MC’s on? Ace would be a good one

Get all the MCs from the golden age G-force, Attack, Techno T, Stompin, Hype, Jet, Master Rhyme, Sweat, all Mcs these days sound the same, everyone i just mentioned all had their own unique style.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, awesome interview. Everything he said resonated with me, all the clubs mentioned I was a regular of, I even went to the Galactica do in 92 at Ripon racecourse that he mentioned. 48 year old and my music tastes have moved on now but I still regularly jam a bit of Stompin, Jimmy G Force, and Techno T during a gym sesh! Stompin mainly though, very talented guy. Again, mint interview. 👍

I moved back to the north east near Middlesbrough about 16 year old and started going to under 18s to mcewans in Sunderland. I had the time of my life, see stompin, tazo, ace, turbo d etc etc still play it every now and then 👊🏻
MC Rhyme was class. Loved it when he'd breakdance and spin on his head. 👌🏾

Ive always loved the rave music since being about 10 years old. Remember to listening to after dark 2 tapes on a walkman with speakers on the primary school field at play time. Haha.
Then as a got older a went to venues like the monkey (that was me weekly venue) the hangar, the boat, nocturnal, and loads more. I lived for the scene. Just wanted to get off me nut and rock the show. Had dex and all that anarl - a was proud to be a charva haha charvas were cool in our generation. Haha
Now through all that the one man who is the epicentre of rave IMO is MC Stompin! Theres no other mc comes close in my opinion. When your in that rave and feel that bass and stompin on the mic with ecstasy flowing through your veins it was so good i could cry hahaha
Now that in mid 30’s and living the opposite life - family guy, rarely drink, dont even smoke tabs anymore there is defo a big part of me that misses it. Im good pals with DJ Lozza who does a lot of raves so might have to get meself back to one soon. Your only as old as you feel haha
But anyway all im saying is the tunes and the scene was a big part of our generations culture (the north east) and danny mc stompin was a big part of it. Thanks for all the good times mate.

I used to share a flat with one of my best marras, Dibble (pshyco) Dj nrg brother.so I've been in afew sessions with Danny .I won't say nowt more about that😂. Stompin at the venue with Nrg was bouncin man and the colliseum was just mint man.mc stompin is definitely the best northeast rave mc hands down 🫡🎤🤝

North East’s finest. First time I heard him was on an Afterdark tape around 99. Think it was a DJ Scott warmup set with Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone (Jam X & De Leon Remix). It was unreal. Wish I still had the tape.

Venue was the best club for me, my close friend Lee foster dj'd there, I worked doors in south Shields with Jimmy Gilbertson the head doorman, I can remember sitting in the dj booth one night with foster, Charlie and marty crushing e's and snorting them off a record sleeve, one of the mc's standing at the decks mc'ing watching us snort these pills, class times

First heard stompin on an afterdark tape with dj mac from 98-99 but inwas about 12 years old in the year 2000-2001 and was hooked on rave ever since. The tape also had techno T and dj scott 2 other legends of the game as well back in the day. Shouod defo try to get those on as well !!!

Theres a set on UTube with DJ Charlie, MC Stompin & MC Techno-T live at The Venue Spennymoor, brings back fond memories.... and yeah Rockshots back in the 90's £10 to get in and had the smallest DJ Booth with perspex round it with MC Kix rockin back and forth with a tab in his hand.. what was it ermm.. Rockshots.. It's the place to be with MC Kix on the M.I.C

I didn’t like hardcore until like the 3rd time I had E’s. My mate had a tape of after dark. Valentines 99. Stompin and techno T back to back is still my favourite to this day. It’s on you tube also. Stompin was on fire
