I have a tooled leather dash. I have been looking at conchos, they have different kinds with a Chicago screw on them and some of them have two openings on them where you can have leather straps hanging from them. If you're not familiar with conchos their items that are on saddles. 👍 Your creativity is great

Doug ..In reference to the Trunk Lid Leather straps ..They may look better if you had a bracket attached to the bottom end of the Trunk Hinges fitted the Leather Straps to that bracket and took them down from that location as you would have a better flown effect .....just a thought ...what do you think ???
Great idea! I actually had that thought aswell and it was one of my previous options. When i had layed out the leather i liked the shorter straps and decided to go with it...but you never know i could change my mind as i keep building. Thanks for the comment

If you wet the leather you can train it to go where you want it. Just put it there and let it dry.
